Chapter 113 I Still Love Her?

Gideon’s words were like a key that unlocked all the hidden, unwillingly sealed thoughts in Arthur’s heart, thoughts he had long buried and never wanted to revisit.
The recent irritability, the unexplained anger, suddenly, it all seemed to make sense.
Arthur pressed his lips into a thin line, and after a long pause, he suddenly let out a low chuckle. “So you’re saying I like her?”
“I didn’t say that,” Gideon quickly waved his hands. “Everyone who knows you knows that you like Sarah. How could you like a woman who’s been scheming against you?”
Arthur gave a self–mocking smile but didn’t deny it.
At this moment, he had calmed down. He did like Charlotte, or rather, he liked her body.
When they were tangled in bed, he was deeply obsessed with her body and her scent.
So, even knowing her manipulative ways, he still went along with their married life.
For the past five years, she had been a competent wife.
But after the car accident, she had changed completely. He no longer recognized her.

Charlene,
To him, this was undoubtedly a deception.
He despised those who deceived him, and Charlotte was no exception.
Therefore, he couldn’t let her have her way in everything.
When it came to divorce, it had to be his decision, not hers.
She didn’t have the right to bring it up.

Gideon observed the calmness returning to Arthur’s face and, for a moment, couldn’t figure out what he was thinking. He took another sip of water and said, “During this time, you should think carefully about what’s coming next. If she regains her memory, she’ll probably still insist on the divorce, and that’ll be a real headache.”
“She doesn’t have the right,” Arthur replied coldly, his eyes once again taking on their usual aloofness.
Gideon raised an eyebrow, sensing that Arthur wasn’t so eager for a divorce after all.
“What about Sarah?” he asked. “She came back to the country specifically for you. What are you planning to do about that?”
Arthur stood up, calmly straightening his collar. “Don’t worry
about that.”
He left those ambiguous words behind before turning and walking out.

Gideon sat back in his chair, his fingers lightly tapping
rhythmically on the table. After a long pause, he let out a helpless smile.

He thought to himself, “Why should I deal with other people’s affairs?
I haven’t even resolved my own issues yet.”

In the hospital room, Sarah was filled with jealousy, but she had to put on a pitiful and innocent expression.
“Julius, I didn’t mean it. I wrongfully blamed your mother. Please don’t be mad at me, okay?”
Julius’s little face remained tight, but hearing her words, he shook his head. “Ms. Miller, I’m not mad at you. Your leg was already hurt.”
Sarah smiled gently. “Julius, you’re such an angel. If only I could have a son like you.”
“Send Julius back.”
At that moment, Arthur’s cold voice came from the doorway.
Soon, a bodyguard entered and took Julius away.
The room fell silent in an instant. Sarah looked at Arthur with a hint of unease. “Arthur, I…”
“Stay put until your leg heals,” Arthur interrupted her, his tone

Sarah felt uncertain and softly asked, “Arthur, are you angry with me?”
Arthur looked at her with cool indifference. “Angry with you about what?”

Sarah bit her lip and said, “I wrongfully accused Mrs. Harrison. It was my fault.”
