When I came back to the room, she was not there. Was she still crying?
I went back to her room to look for her, thinking that she would probably be there, still crying but I searched everywhere and she wasn’t there
Where on earth could she be?
“Serena!” There was no response.
I went downstairs to look for her when I saw the guards I had put to follow her talking and laughing.
“Alpha, good day.”
“Save it. Where is she?”
They looked at each other.
“Who, Alpha? Who are you speaking about?”
“Serena, you fools! Where is she?!”
Oh, she said she wanted to get some air so we left her to get some air.”
They had to be kidding right?
“The woman I put in your care wanted to get some air and you let her?! I told you to look after her and not let her boss you
around!”
“We’re sorry, Alpha. She didn’t want us to follow her, and we wanted to give her some space since she looked very upset, so that was it.”
I was employing stupid people.
“She wanted to be alone? She wanted to be alone?!“o
I didn’t even know when I punched him and he fell to the floor.
“I am your Alpha! I have you an order and that is what you should have followed and not her orders. She is am! So you should listen to me!”
He got up from the floor and got on his knees.

It better not. For now, I had to find Serena and hope that she was still in this pack. There was a high chance that she wasn’t since I knew that she had been crying.
“Where on earth could she be?”
I went around looking for her, from the kitchen to the corridor. But I didn’t think she had the guts to run away. I specifically told her not to run away or else I would kill her.
Or maybe something bad had happened to her. No, she didn’t look like someone who would do something that stupid.

Or maybe since she wasn’t in the house, she would be outside. Maybe I should check outside.
I walked outside to the back of the house to check if she was there. If she wasn’t, then I would be sure that there was genuinely something wrong.
As I approached the door, I could hear voices, and I wondered who they were.
“I have nothing to say to you. Do you want me to leave or should I leave instead?”
Who was Serena speaking to?
“You want to walk out on me? Do you want to dare walk out on me? I’m speaking to you!”
That was Kane.
“And I’m done speaking to you! I have nothing to say to you!”
What the hell was he doing?
I slowly walked to the door and looked out at them.
“How dare you? Do you know who I am? It’s bad enough that you’re pregnant for someone else! I should have been the one who got you pregnant. You are mine! I should have been the one who fucked you first! You said you were a virgin right? That was my right.”
I had no idea that Kane could say things like this.
“You don’t have the right to say that to me.”
Now, I was very sure that he was the reason why that thing has happened today. Serena had nothing to do with it.
Anger boiled in my chest.
“Yes, I do. Your body belongs to me, always have, and always will. Fate brought us together, and nothing will take us apart, so get used to it. Your body is mine and if you think I’ll let you be just because you’re pregnant, then you thought wrong.”
I will kill him, I will make sure I break his neck so he would never do a thing like this again. He was married to my sister and he had the guts to go after the woman who was married to me?
He won’t get away with this.
“Let me go, you bloody pervert!”
“I own you, Serena. Get used to it, it’s not going to change.”
This bloody bastard. His eyes met with mine and his mood suddenly changed. He let go of her.
“Serena, don’t do this to me. I’ve told you before I can’t leave my wife for you. What we had is in the past. You need to understand that I’m married, and I love my wife, so please, let me go.”
Did he think I was stupid? It was obvious Serena was just as confused as I was.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
I would deal with him.
“Leave, Serena!”

As soon as she was sure that she had gone, I moved closer to hi

You bastard. I heard everything you said to Serena. What’s your intention with her? To think that you’re with my sister and you still have the guts to do things like this?”
Of course, he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about,
“I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.”
“Oh don’t play dumb. I heard you and I know what you have in mind. The only reason I haven’t dealt with you is because you are with my sister. And maybe because you’re an Alpha. If not, I would have dealt with you.”
I knew that even if I told Amelia, she would not believe me.
“And so what?! Isn’t that what we do as Alpha’s? You can’t tell me that you don’t sleep around with slaves and Omegas and that’s what Serena is. Or are you acting this way because she’s pregnant with your child? I mean, when you’re done with her, you can pass her to me to have a taste.”
Something in me told me that I had said these things to Serena but then hearing him saying it just made me so angry.
Who the hell did he think he was? Whatever happened between him and her was now in the past and I don’t care about it. The fact that he could even think of having his way with her when she was pregnant just pissed me off.
“What? Cat got your tongue? You know that it’s true. It’s in the blood of Alphas. I know you don’t have any interest in her so just let her go. Give her to me. You can keep the baby, who cares? But just give her to me, I’ll be very grateful.”
Maybe today was a very bad day for me because I didn’t even know when I punched him hard. He staggered back, clutching his jaw.
