He finally let me go because someone came over to speak to him I stood beside him though, waiting patiently for him to give me the unwanted attention.
I mean, why was he doing this? Why couldn’t he just let me be? While he drank wine and laughed with the man, I put distance between me and him so that when he was finally gone, he would not be able to pull me back.
It wasn’t like he made me uncomfortable. I mean, I was carrying his baby, and he was the one who first touched me, but then again. I didn’t know how I felt about this whole situation because he had just become Alpha, and all eyes would be on him right now for him to pick a bride.
And imagine me with my reputation, as a slut, being seen on his lap.
He signaled for me by snapping his fingers, and I wanted to break their fingers off, but I just walked forward because I couldn’t do anything else.
“Pour us a cup of wine. My friend and I need to celebrate the night.”
I went to pick up the wine, tilting the bottle slowly into the cup as my eyes were fixed on it, not wanting to mistakenly meet with his eyes.
I could feel his eyes on me as I poured the bottles, and my hands shook, leaving the cup for a moment and pouring it on the Tablecloth.
“Oh, my apologies.”
I stepped back again and walked towards the buffet table where was when all this started.
At first, I just wanted to be at home and sleep, but then he called me out here, and then I just wanted to eat because that was the only reasonable thing to do at a place I wasn’t wanted.

As I stared at the food, I wondered if he would see me if I ate. I mean, he was drinking distracted.
I picked up a doughnut and held it in my hand, glancing back at the table to check if he was looking at me.
His eyes met with mine and the food fell back on the plate immediately. What the hell?
Why was this man after my life tonight? It’s not like I was going to be stupid enough to try to run away in front of all these people and even worse, with him standing in front of me.
I moved my eyes away, looking elsewhere to distract myself from the fact that he was looking at me,
By the time I looked back, thankfully, he had looked away.
Was this how I was supposed to be standing here throughout the night? I mean, didn’t he have any plans to let me go? Their loud laughter broke me out of my thoughts and just then, his friend signaled to me to bring them more wine. Gosh, I could feel his eyes on me even strongly now, and he wasn’t even trying to hide it.
“What? Do you like her? She looks like she would beat a lot of healthy children for you. You have a fine selection of maids.”

What should I have expected from someone who was friends with this man? Of course, they will think the same way

My anger shifted to him, and I wondered what he meant by that. He was the one telling me how much I was a slut because I was pregnant for him.
I felt heat, rising in the pit of my stomach as I stepped back. I wish he would have just left me at home as I wanted to be.
Thankfully, the party ended after midnight and I couldn’t get home any faster. I wanted to run home and rush to bed but he had other things planned for me
First off, he told me to get in the car because we would be going home together. It was very awkward as I sat in the ear and wondered why the hell I had agreed in the first place
And then, when we got home, I opened the door of the car immediately and hit out, not wanting to have any further discussion about this topic.
As I went
inside and sighed loudly, happy that I was already home, a maid called me from downstairs:
“The Alpha would like to see you in his bedroom at once”
She was joking, right? His bedroom? What was he planning this time around or wasn’t he already satisfied with the things he

I war by his side through the night, and not once did I complain, and now, he wanted me in his room.
I sighed in defeat, not knowing what to do I had to obey him no matter what it would be a whole new episode of drama that I wasn’t ready for, so I just decided to go to see him
When I got there, I cursed him in my mind and then knocked.
The door opened immediately and I was shocked at what was in front of me
He was standing there in A robe and leaning on the wall

The way he said it, I was so scared but I entered because he pulled me in
As he closed the door, I didn’t move. I just stayed in that spot and wondered what the hell was going on.

I could feel his presence near me and it sent goosebumps down my body. Why was he standing so close?

He came around to face me, and my eyes met with him, and I forgot the thing I wanted to say.
The fact that he was close let me smell him better. My nostrils enlarged as I filled my lungs with his scent and then the proximity between us was deadly.
