Chapter 11
THIRD PERSON POV
When he told them to leave the room so they could talk, she didn’t like it one bit.
She would have opposed it and stood her ground, saying that she wasn’t going anywhere, but she didn’t. She wanted to find out the truth about the matter, and she knew that Serena would’t talk if she and Arnelia were there, so she had to act like she didn’t mind, and she dragged her daughter away,
But they didn’t go into the room. At least, she didn’t. After making Amelia go into the room so that she won’t expose them, knowing that the girl isn’t very smart at anything that she did, she rushed back to the curtain and stayed by the door.
Then she very silently waited as the conversation unfolded.
She was shocked by the things she heard and even more shocked by the confession of Serena.
She had almost screamed but she slapped her hand on her mouth before the sound could come out. Her son would be very mad at her if he caught he eavesdropping when he told her to leave.
Dimitri was the father of that witch’s baby?
Never! How could that happen?! He had never slept with her before, so how could he be the father? She thought that he was stupid enough to believe her.
But Dimitri didn’t deny it. He spoke about the night they had met. No, this couldn’t be.
She had hoped for grandkids but not like this. She wanted him to get married to a good girl of good status but she had been disappointed.
Not only did she not get a girl of good status, but she also got a grandkid from her very own slave.
She felt like dying where she stood and she just walked away to her room to think about the situation. How could Dimitri make a mistake like this? Was he planning on taking her to an early grave?
Why would he do a thing like that, knowing that she was a slaver
Never in her life did she think that her very own precious son would be the father of the bastard that Serena was carrying
She was worried, panicking actually at what her husband would think about all this and that’s why she had to take things into her own hands.
She must do something about it.
She stayed up for most of the night, brainstorming and plotting on what to do.
That morning during breakfast, it was very silent. Silent because Dimitri didn’t have anything to say to them. He had more important things to think about and he didn’t want them to bring their bad energy into it
He’d ended up sending Serena to her room later that night, telling her that they would talk. But he stayed up and thought for a while.
Now, he was going to be a father..
“I got up this morning and that filthy slave wasn’t there with my breakfast. I had to come down here to get it. You need to punish her mum because if I get my hands on her, I’ll kill her.”

Chapter 11
Amelia’s mother didn’t say anything and that upset her.
“Mum, say something!”
Her mother didn’t even look at her. Her attention was focused on her brother whose head was buried in his food.
He hadn’t said a word more than good morning
“Dimitri, won’t you tell us the outcome of your private meeting with her?”
Her ears were itching to hear what he had to say even though she already knew what had been said.

Dimitri looked up from his food and rested his back in the chair. He was very calm.
“What’s there to say! You already know what was said, don’t you?
Her eyes widened and she knew she had been caught.
“I mean, you couldn’t expect me to just leave the both of us alone like that. She could try something-”
“The worst has already happened. She’s already pregnant for me so what exactly would happen that has not already happened?
Amelia’s confusion was finally cleared up and she was let in on the conversation.
“What did you say? Serena’s baby is yours!”
That may have been the first time that she would ever say Serena’s name.
“And so what? I’m not the first person to get someone pregnant Why are you so surprised?”
His mother stood up.
“Listen to me, I would not allow you to bring shame to this family. That baby would be aborted. As long as no one knows. about it yet, there can still be something done about it.”
He gave his mother a look, showing how disgusted he was at what she had said.
“My baby would not be aborted”

It was a simple sentence, but that was his stance, and nothing that anyone said would change his mind. He didn’t care if her father didn’t stand for it.
Nothing was going to happen to his child or to Serena.
“How can you say such a thing, Dimitri? Do you know what you have done? She’s a slave and she’s a part of this family. That baby that she carries is an abomination in itself. What do you think people would say?”
Both mother and son had different worries.
His mother worried about how people would look at their family and what they would say when they found out that her son had impregnated her while he was thinking about how she was going to be a father.
He has already accepted the baby and he didn’t care about anything else.
“Dimitri, how can you”
He gave
Amelia a look which shut her up.
Chapter II
“I know that she did this. She seduced you and bewitched you and she had turned your head against me and that’s why you’re standing for this nonsense. Open your eyes!”
He stood up on his feet, abandoning his breakfast.
“I have nothing to say except this. Nobody will touch my child of harm Serena
“Have you lost it?! What did that girl do to you that made you lose your senses?! You may be an Alpha but I’m still your mother. Your coronation ceremony is near. If news gets out about this, what do you think will happen?!”
Amelia wondered why Serena was looking for a way to stay in this family. She had tried all she could to get her away from the house but she didn’t want to leave and then she married her mate.
Even then, she still stayed. She saw her as a threat. And now, she was pregnant for her brother.
“Mum, we have to do something. If news gets out about this, we’re screwed. What will my husband say? How will I say that my brother got our step sister pregnant? That is so embarrassing and disgusting”
Amelia’s worry didn’t bother anyone.
Infact, she was the only one who seemed bothered. It sure as hell didn’t bother Dimitri but their mother was siler
“We don’t have to worry about that.”
Amelia faced her mother.
Why? Why would you say it doesn’t matter or has she bewitched you too?”
“It doesn’t matter because you are not related at all. You are not related by
blood”
