He looked back to me searching my eyes his thumb brushing over my cheek before leaning down, my eyes fluttered closed and my heartbeat completely stopped when I felt his lips mold to mine. This kiss was different it was more controlled, he wasn’t hungrily kissing me with urgency like all the others in the
past. It was soft and sweet.
His lips were really warm, I held his wrist in one hand and the hesitantly lifted the other to the back of his neck, he must have known what I wanted because he reached back and took my hand in his own and lifted it allowing me to twist my fingers in his hair. His hand dropped mine and fell to my waist he gripped my waist a little too tightly but I wasn’t complaining.
So much warmness bubbled in my stomach, I could feel my lungs burning for oxygen but there was no way I was pulling away. He pulled away for a second allowing me to gasp for air before his lips were connected with mine again. I kissed back tugging on his hair, he growled against my lips, and bit my bottom lip tugging on it. I gasped quietly pulling away from the shock but he just took the opportunity to slip his tongue in my mouth, he walked me backwards towards the island, probably getting annoyed halfway there since I was so slow. His hands roughly grabbed the backs of my thighs lifting me off the floor and then he set me on the island, pushing on of the chairs out of the way, it hit the floor with a loud bang that made me jump but I had other things on my mind.
Like how good Dez tasted, he tasted like candy. And how absolutely amazing I felt right now. I felt like I was on a high, I was light headed and my body was practically trembling in excitement. His hands went to my hips and he held them tightly.
I could feel his muscles body posture go rigid but he didn’t stop he just kissed me harder and with more urgency. Don’t get me wrong I loved the soft sweet kiss while it lasted but these kisses were so much better. He was holding my hips so tight to the point he was actually hurting me and I couldn’t breathe. I took his wrists and and pulled his hands away setting them on the counter top on either side of my thighs. I scooted closer pressing my body to his and connecting my feet behind his waist.
I hesitant moved my hands to the top button of his shirt and undid it, he didn’t stop me like I expected, so I undid the rest my hands shaking slightly as I fumbled with the rest of the buttons. His lips left mine and he started kissing down my jaw then my neck leaving bite marks. I pushed his shirt over his shoulders and he took it off completely. I slid my hands down his defined chest them traced the ridge of his abs to the lining of his jeans.
He had returned his lips to mine and I kissed back eagerly giving him dominance. He pulled away letting out a loud snarl and then turned around his hand going to my thigh. I was faced with his muscular back, I watch as his muscles rolled and then went rock hard. I was breathing heavily and was trying to pay attention but him being this close, I couldn’t concentrate on anything but him and how much I wanted him.

“Alpha” I heard a voice say, it was a man’s voice, Dez didn’t reply but just listened waiting for this person
to continue.
“There has been a message delivered for you by a scout” Dez nodded and the man stepped forward, Dez snarled so loudly I jumped at the sound letting out a small gasp.
“You don’t come near my mate” he said and took the two steps forward that took him all the way across the kitchen to the man, once Dez had removed himself from my view I got a better look at him and how absolutely terrified he looked. I felt bad for all the people who were afraid of Dez because they thought he might hurt them. I realized everyone was afraid of Dez, he was a ticking time bomb and a killer, I had the free pass of never being afraid of him.
Dez snatched an envelope out of his hands causing him to cringe away from him wincing. I bit my lip, watching the man carefully, he was almost trembling. He stood straight and poked his chest out his eyes on Dez’s feet, he waited to be dismissed quietly his eyes never leaving the ground in front of Dez. I frowned realizing I had never seen an actual person who wasn’t another alpha or part of his pack interact with him. I wondered if it was always like this.
I heard a faint ring coming from upstairs, Dez turned around and looked at me giving me a look,the man looked up at me. I felt the self consciousness sink in from both their eyes on me, especially the honey brown ones that were burning holes in my face with intensity.
