A few hours later, he pulled into some driveway of the biggest mansion I have ever seen in my life, my jaw dropped.
“Where are we?” I asked in amazement, he didn’t reply but just got out slamming the door behind him, I sighed and got out following him to the front door.
“We aren’t going to be greeted by a slut this time are we?” I asked lightly, remembering the blonde bitch who thought she could take what’s mine. I remembered Dez did have my mark now, I glanced up at it sitting on his neck, it was so beautiful it made me happy to think he was permanently mine. He could never get rid of the mark that decorated his neck, and no one could ever replace it, he was mine. He didn’t reply to my question but just opened the door instead and walked in.
I barely got to admire the large staircase and marble floors before Dez was tugging me lightly down a hallway taking away the view.
“Dez I was looking at that” I grumbled following him. “Where are we going?” I asked finally trying to keep up with him.
“Dez” I repeated he still didn’t give an answer, I stubbornly stopped and he kept walking but then turned around he gave me a look.
“Words” I reminded.
“The meeting Kendal” he said back. I nodded and then he started walking again. He brought me into a very nice living room with plush expensive couches and a beautiful view, there was a few women here and also a few men at their sides, they were all large and smelled like alphas. But their size and scent was nothing compared to Dez’s or the amount of power he puts off, I was filled with pride a little and tried not
to let it show.
I glanced around “Kendal!” I heard and turned in the direction seeing Carly coming forward, pregnant belly and heels and all her arms out wearing a large smile. Dez automatically stepped in front of her holding his hand out making her stop abruptly a few feet away.
“Dez” I grumbled giving her a sheepish look, moving out from behind him, he raised an eyebrow at me but I knew the look in his eyes and I knew not to argue with him because it wasn’t going to make a difference he had his mind set and nothing I said or did was going to change it. She didn’t look phased by his motion, as I came to stand next to her.
“How have you been?” I asked her excited I wasn’t here alone.
“Wonderful!” she said giving me a large smile.

“How’s Michael?” I asked motioning to her belly.
“He’s so great, along with Alex” she said shooting me a wink.
My mouth dropped and then my gaze slid to her belly “There’s two?” she nodded her smile getting wider.
“Oh my gosh congratulations!” I said covering my mouth in shock, she laughed at me giggling to herself.
“Wow” I said still in shock, I couldn’t imagine expecting one baby for 2 months then finding out I was getting two. One baby was a life changer, two was just unimaginable.
“So how are you and Alpha Collins?” she asked me.
I looked over at Dez, finding him not actually there I cast a glance around finding he had disappeared.
“We’re great” I told her grinning.
“Come sit down with me, lord knows I can’t stand in these heels long”
“How are you wearing heels at 2 months pregnant?” I asked following her to a couch.
“What do you mean these are my comfortable heels?” I burst out laughing.
“I salute you honey” I said, we talked just catching up and discussing the whole story about finding out about the second baby. Dez didn’t return for a really long time, like it was pretty much dark, I was tired and almost sighed in relief seeing him walk in. I said bye to Carly and almost ran to him wrapping my arms around him inhaling his scent. I didn’t even care about all the people staring, which I knew they were, they always were. I felt so warm in safe in his strong tattooed arms, my exhaustion hit me hard, and I closed my eyes getting drowsy.
“I’m so tired” I mumbled into Dez’s shirt.
I took his hand and he lead me out which took forever. I debated on taking a bath when I got home or not, I was too tired, but a bath would be relaxing, I’d probably fall asleep in the bathtub.
I got in the truck and laid down letting Dez drive, I frowned when he stopped, that was very quick. I sat up seeing we weren’t at home but at some really big house.
“Dez where are we?” I asked.
“Guest house” he replied.
“Do we get a room with a bathtub?” I asked.
“I’m sure out of the many rooms in this house there’s a bathtub in one”
