my dad I finally got sick of my mind running in a circle of endless questions and decided to think about which was just as frustrating. I tried to remember a time when my parents weren’t happy and laughing or arguing and I couldn’t. Nothing had ever been wrong.
I played back memories, remembering my dad, I began to question his smiles and laughs, were they all fake. Were they pretend? Was he making memories with our family and then slipping out at night to go cheat on my mom with another woman? I squeezed my eyes shut with these thoughts. I wanted to deny it, I wanted to think that my dad would never do that. I wanted to believe he loved my mother, and Angela and I with everything he had and he had devoted himself completely to us.
But there was evidence otherwise. Evidence that was very much alive.

There wasn’t a doubt that she was my dad’s she had his eyes. And there wasn’t a doubt about her age, so he must have slept with that vile thing he’s with now at some point. I sighed letting my mind think some more on autopilot while I dealt with my emotions.
I sat up deciding to take a walk, I pulled on a hoodie and some sweatpants, I left quietly trying not to wake up Dez. I walked for a little while until I found myself at a grey structure, I took to be the prison block. I took it upon fate to bring me here so I would follow it through.
I pulled the door opened the hot air hitting me hard. They obviously didn’t keep AC in here, I looked around finding it empty, I looked around.

“See you dont really have a choice” he said studying me, my mouth was dry.

“I don’t care what you want” he replied and then came forward quickly and threw me over his shoulder, I let out a scream from the shock.
“P–put me down” I said hitting his back.
“No” he replied and then went out the door. It was hard to breath from the need to cry.
“W–wait” I said he didn’t listen to my soft pleas, I debated on screaming as loud as I could, but I couldn’t breathe from crying. It was still dark outside, and the only noises were the occasional rustle of an animal,
and my crying.
I took a deep breath even though it hurt my dry throat and I started screaming and kicking trying to get away, he hissed at me and then slung me over his shoulder letting me completely go, so I hit the ground. It stunned me knocking the breath out of me, I gasped for air, trying to breath in shaky breaths from crying earlier. I laid there for a minute.
“Keep your mouth shut” he hissed at me grabbing onto my arm tightly, his fingers dug into my skin. I threw my small fist into the middle of his stomach, causing him to cough a little from loss of breath but his grip on my arm to tighten, I knew blood was being drawn at this point.
“You’re hurting me” I told him trying to twist my arm out of his grip. He let out a low growl in response. I heard fast feet coming our way, it was quiet at first I looked at him in alarm, seeing that he hadn’t caught the sound.
