My hands pressed forward on his torso since his chest was above my head. My head was clouded and fuzzy and the feeling coursing through my caused my body to erupt in tingles and warmness to fill me to the brim. The heat slowly left my body and was replaced by the warmth of Dez, and the soft touch of his slowly running his fingers up and down my back giving me chills, and his intoxicating scent that surrounded us like a thick cloud.
He bit my bottom lip and I eagerly gave him dominance, his taste exploded over my taste buds. He tasted like cupcakes. He let out a low rumble that vibrated through my hands pressed firmly against him. I shivered involuntarily, I let out a small whimper feeling a sharp pain on the back of my neck. He pulled away even though I was eager for more and desperately reached on my tip toes crushing my lips back to his. I swear I could feel him smiling he took my face in his large hand and pulled away standing up to
where I couldn’t reach him if I tried.
I was breathing heavily and my head was spinning slightly. My vision was clouded, and I was shaking, and then I started getting light headed as the room started spinning into darkness.
I was in the darkness for a long time, there was nothing here, no sounds, or warmth, no smells or feelings. Just the darkness.
I breathed in deeply trying to turn over only to have my hand catch on something and have a small pain on the back of my hand, I groaned, before opening my eyes groggily. I rubbed my face with my extra hand and then blinked a few times taking note of my surroundings, it smelled like a hospital room and it
sure did look like one. I looked down at my hand frowning, there was an IV taped into my arm, I followed
the clear small tube to the bag of a clear liquid, I frowned even more.
“You keep frowning like that, you’re going to break your face” I heard the familiar voice of Jenny say, I looked over finding her in a small uncomfortable ugly green chair. She gave me a bright smile.
“Morning sunshine” she sang, I let out a low growl. Why was she so happy?
“Okay cranky pants” she muttered under her breath. All of it hit me at once, I was supposed to be in heat. Why was I in a hospital? Why wasn’t I in heat? What happened?
“I see the wheels turning” she said watching my facial expressions.
“Why am I not in heat?” I asked my voice husky from not speaking in a while.
“Oh you were for a few days, it ended yesterday” she told me nodding knowingly.
“But…” I was dumbfounded. What was going on?

“He what?” I said she winced slightly at the tone of my voice.
“Honestly you cant blame him Kendal, I mean put yourself in his situation-”
“You’re on his side?” I demanded, she cringed.
“He was only doing it for your own good” she reasoned. I glared at her. It all made sense. The kiss, the sharp pain, the passing out afterwards, I knew his presence didn’t affect me that much, there’s no way I could’ve passed out after he kissed me no matter how much i thought I was in love with him.
He drugged me! He seduced me, and then knocked me out! What kind of person sedates their mate? What the fuck? He had no right. I was furious, I needed to give him a piece of my mind. I yanked the IV
out of my hand.
“Whoa there honey no need to-”
“Where is he?” I snapped at her.
“He’s not here yet” she answered, he lips twitched and I knew she was lying.
“Well then where the fuck is he?” I said looking down at what I was wearing.
“He had to leave so it would be easier, he supposed to be back later” she said, I could tell she wasn’t telling
me all that she knew. I let out a low growl.
“Jenny” I said warningly.
“So I have to go, but I’m glad you’re feeling better” she said after clearing her throat and leaving only to
have Atticus enter the room.
“Where is he?” I asked Atticus.
“In his office” he answered obediently shooting Jenny and small smirk that I didn’t miss. She stuck her tongue out at him and rolled her eyes. I went straight to his office, I was 00% pissed off female, and believe me when I say this won’t be a whisper party.
I burst into his office seeing his standing up leaned against his desk talking to Michael, for moment I lost my breath at how stunning he was, but then I gained back when I remember this was the person who I
was supposed to hate.
“You fucking drugged me?” I demanded “Are you serious? Why in fucks sake would you fucking do that? That’s not okay Dezmond! You cant just fucking seduce me, then drug me just because you don’t want to-” I was cut off by the clearing of a throat and my name, I spun around ready to kill someone for interrupting. Michael and Atticus took this time to quickly leave, I saw my father sitting in the corner. He
