“I don’t need permission to leave your territory” I said hardly through gritted teeth.
“Really, the mark on your neck says otherwise, you’re’mine whether you like it or not” I could detect a hint of regret and I felt a pain in my chest.
“The mark you forced on me?” I corrected questionably.
“Forced?” he scoffed “the last time I checked you never asked me to stop” he said his voice getting louder
with each word.
“How is that fair?” I replied angrily.
“I’m not arguing with you” he snapped at me causing me to close my mouth and take a step back involuntarily in fear. He looked a time for a minute his lips pressing into a thin line and his forehead wrinkling. He looked disgusted with the action.
“I know you think I’m a horrible monster but I would never hurt you” he said suddenly his voice taking a soft tone, I raised an eyebrow at him.
“It’s a little late for that, Dezmond” I said bitterly setting my cup in the sink and going to my room slamming the door behind me for good measure. I sighed and laid down, I listened to Dez destroy his kitchen for a while before I heard the front door slam loudly with a feral growl.
I took a deep breath and laid there fighting back tears, just talking to him provoked strong emotions in me. I took deep breaths because I didn’t want to cry. I thought about going home. Until I remembered the look on my father’s face when he found out whose name was imprinted in my skin.
I chewed on my lip, thinking. If I left here I had nowhere to go. It’s not like I could leave here. I mean I’m sure Dez had tight security around the place, but nobody actually knew who I was. Dez hadn’t told anyone but Michael who I was. I remembered that Abby and her lot didn’t know who I was. She had asked me if I had a mate, which meant Dez hadn’t told his pack about me.
Normally when alphas found their mates, the pack was told and the new Luna was introduced. Except with me obviously, Dez hid me from the world. I was probably an embarrassment. I didn’t know why I
was an embarrassment.
I mean I wasn’t weak or anything. Maybe he just didn’t want a mate. Which sounds kind of ironic considering he marked me literally within 3 minutes of finding me. I rubbed my head before getting up and putting decent clothes on. I went to the pack house deciding to just walk around instead of lock myself in my room.
“Kendal!” I heard and turned around.

“Jenny” I said awkwardly patting her back as she hugged me. “Hey” I said.
“Where the hell have you been?” she asked me.
“Oh um, around” I said lamely motioning around.
“Come on we can go talk by the pool” she said “Do you have a swim suit”
“Uh, well… no” I finally said, she looked down at my body sizing it up.
“Your rack is definitely bigger than mine but we’ll find something” she said pursing her lips, I snorted at her rack comment. She took my hand I let her drag me away.
“So why did you leave so early that night?” she asked me.
“Uh, I had stuff to do” I lied.
“Oh, that’s cool, Mason was freaking out about the damn alpha showing up anyways” she muttered the last part under her breath. She said it as if she didn’t like Dez.
‘You don’t like your alpha?” I asked her raising an eyebrow, I kind of expected his pack to praise him.
“No, he’s a good alpha, I mean we don’t have to worry about threats or anything, he keeps us safe, we just don’t know a lot about him” I snorted. Join the club sweetheart.
“So were you like a rogue and Alpha Collins took you in, or something?” she asked me.
I sighed… and looked at Jenny, she was looking at me with big eyes. I was tired of feeling alone.
“Hey you can keep a secret right?” I asked her, she looked at me skeptically for a second.
“Yeah?” she said questionably.
“Well how about we go to the pool and I can tell you everything about my pitiful life” I suggested.
“Sweet, deal” she said opening the door to a room. There was a bed in the middle and clothes all over the
floor.
“So… um I’m well I’m a C and you’re about like a triple D, and my ass is rather small and yours isn’t but somehow your smaller than me in size” she grumbled under her breath digging through a few drawers.
“What the hell are you” she grumbled handing me a bikini top and some black bottoms to match.
“Here these were a size too big, I’ll give you a tank top” she told me. I pulled my clothes off and she helped me tie the strings in the back. She handed me a white see through tank top I took a and tied a knot in the front so it stopped above my pierced belly button. I looked cute I grabbed some ray bands and we walked
