“Are you okay?” he asked me, as I turned around, I nodded and he cupped my face his eyes searching mine, I realized he wanted me to say something
“Sore, and I can barely walk but perfect” I told him, and he pulled me into a kiss, my heart fluttered in my chest. He kissed me a little harder and I kissed back. I went back to making breakfast, Jay standing close behind me pressing occasional kisses on my shoulder or neck. I finished and made him a plate and some orange juice and sat him down.
He finished and I cleaned dishes while he took a call. He came back into the kitchen pressing kisses all
over me.
“I have to go to work baby” he told me, “But I’ll call in if you want me to” he added.
“Its okay, go to work” I assured me giving him a small smile.
“Are you sure?” he asked, I nodded, he carried me upstairs and dropped me on the bed, I watched him get dressed appreciatively. He put a suit on and tied his tie. God he was attractive.
“Go back to bed princess, your body will heal faster if you’re sleeping” he told me, I nodded and he left, I laid back in bed hearing his loud truck start up and then the sound fade off. I sighed and went back to sleep for a little while. I bit my lip keeping in whimpers as I put a pair of Calvin Klein panties on and then some nike shorts. I didn’t bother with a bra, I just put on a sports bra and an old hoodie. I threw my hair in a messy bun and then added some nikes, I went to my dad’s after putting perfume on, I had taken a shower this morning but I knew Jay’s scent had to be profound on me.
I knocked on my dad’s door and then walked in, he looked up seeing me and smiled and then his smile faded and his jaw clenched.

I stopped where I was and debated on stepping any closer, I could see his face slowly turning red and then he stood up. Should I run? Would my dad beat me? Did I want to find out?
“Hey dad” I said nervously staring at him.
“You had sex with Jay.” He stated, his voice was calm and collected which made him seem so much scarier I would rather him scream at me.
“I did.” I replied.
“So you’re sleeping around now?” anger surged through me. I was pissed.

“Jay and I are and have been in committed relationship for some time now. But even if I was sleeping around, I’m an adult I can sleep with who I want to.” I told him angrily.
“That boy is bad news, you need to stay away from him”
“Well that’s not really your decision is it?” I retorted. I could not believe my dad was coming at me with
this bullshit.
“Micah, I am trying to protect you. He is not who you think he is.”
“OH so you’d rather me be with Dezmond Collins, who kills people for no reason?” I challenged, his face almost turned purple.
“Why are you coming at me with this shit? I’m an adult, I’m happy, and yeah Jay and I fucked, but that’s none of your business or your decision” I told him loudly.
“If you want to fuck your life up then fine go
ahead-”
“Having a boyfriend is fucking my life up?” I almost screamed at him but started laughing.
“No, having that man as a boyfriend is.”
“Dad, I’m an adult. I can do what and who I want. Jump the fuck off my case.” I told him through gritted
teeth.
“I’m trying to protect you” he yelled at me, I took a step back.
“I don’t need you to protect me, if I’m fucking up then so be it, I don’t need your fucking opinion and I sure as hell don’t need you yelling at me. I’m not a kid anymore!” I yelled and then turned around and walked out slamming the door behind me. I was furious. I went downstairs and then outside and striped off my clothes. I shifted and then went for a run.
I pushed myself, until my legs were burning just as bad as my lungs and then I didn’t stop. Every time my legs would go numb from over exhaustion, I pushed myself harder until I could feel the burn. I put myself on autopilot to prevent myself from thinking about things. The scent of blood and fire invaded my senses. I turned around and followed it, I shifted and changed back into my nike shorts and hoodie and laced my shoes up. It was cold here, because night had fallen. I heard a faint scream and followed the sound. I could smell the smoke before I could see the flames, I could see the flamed through trees, I bent down hiding just in case. I could see houses in flames and people screaming. I could see larger men shoving all these terrified people into a circle and they all waited. The biggest house was left untouched.
Someone walked out of the biggest house, and the largest man of all of them was following, he grabbed him by the neck and with a sickening crack the man fell to the ground, all of the survivors cried out and then the sobbing and screams got louder.
