Chapter 109
“Jenny wake up” I said shaking her, she groaned and then rolled out of bed and ran into the bathroom. Puking noises filled the bathroom, I peeked in seeing she didn’t make it to the toilet but had puked all in the sink. I gaged just at the thought so I didn’t even want to go within 30 feet of the bathroom.
I sat on the bed for a little while, saying small prayers for Jenny who sounded miserable, I could hear occasional small moans followed my puke sounds.
“Jenny- oh” Kylie said coming in the room suddenly finding me there.
“Where’s Je-” she stopped at the sound of puke noises and I winced.
“Oh” she said, I rolled my eyes.
“We were supposed to go shopping today but someone decided to get drunk last night” I said raising my voice slightly.
“Oh…well…I can go with you… if you want… Jenny is going to be in bed all day anyways.” She suggested
studying me closely. I shrugged.
“Okay” I said simply. This was going to be interesting. I had never actually been alone with this girl.
“Let me get dressed” she told me and I nodded as she went into her closet, she came back out dressed similar to me. She dressed down instead of up like I assumed. We took my dad’s truck, because that’s
what I drove over here.
We just talked casually, mostly just listening to the country station my dad had it on. We went around and we liked the same things so we really just talked a lot. Kylie was actually kind of funny in her own. way, so I had fun until my phone rang. It was my dad.
“Yes” I said as I put the phone to my ear.
“I need you in my office.” He said.
“Oh, uh be there in 20” I responded, Kylie and I loaded all our stuff up and I drove to my dads. I went up the stairs and walked into his room. I gasped.
“Michael!” I said and ran up to him until a hand grabbed my arm jerking me back snatching me out of thin air and I hit a brick wall, aka Jay.
“What are you doing?” I asked him shoving him off me.
“What are you doing?” he responded harshly.

Chapter 105
“I was going to hug him Jay.” I responded rolling my eyes, going back to Michael and wrapping my arms
around him.
“I missed you” I told him hugging him tighter.
“I missed you.” He responded taking in a deep breath kissing the top of my head as I finally let go. I looked around, actually assessing the situation. My dad was leaned against his desk, Jay was against one wall, and Eric was against the door. All in the same stance, jaws clenched, arms crossed over their chests, muscles bulging looking pissy as hell.
“What are you doing here?” I asked him.
“uh” he said rubbing the back of his neck “Can I talk to you alone?” he asked.
“No” Eric and my dad sald automatically while Jay added in a growl, I rolled my eyes.
“Of course you can” I said happily, hardly giving them all the look.
“Kendal no.” Eric said.
“What that idiot said” Jay responded, Eric gave him a look which he returned.
“Newsflash, y’all aren’t the boss of me, I am an adult,” I told both of them.
“Kendal, I don’t want you doing this.” My dad said adding his opinion.
“Dad, it’s okay, I know Michael, he won’t hurt me, promise” I promised. After a lot of ridiculous debating from the three of them, my dad finally agreed and Jay and Eric set a 10-minute time limit and then left after spewing curse words and threats at him, my dad just gave him a look before shutting the soundproof door.
Once the door was shut, I snuggled back under his arms giving him another tight hug. I missed him way
more than I thought I did.
“How have you been?” Michael finally asked sitting down and I sat across from him. I babbled for a little while about my day with Kylie who I actually liked now and how I worked out with Eric and about how close Jay and I have become.
“Is there…maybe something more between you and Jay?” I gave him a confused look. “I saw the way he looked at you before he left Kendal, and the way he was talking about you before you got here. Are you sure about him? Do you trust him?” he asked me studying me.
“No, we’re just friends, we go on “friend dates“” I told him using finger quotations, he rose an eyebrow at that statement.
“Have you… thought about moving on?” he asked me quietly. I stayed quiet for a minute, he looked guilty,

I gave him a questionable look.
“Are you asking me because Dez is cheating on me…?” I asked him, he looked up and his eyes grew wide.
“You know?” he asked looking shocked and guilty, I nodded.

“Kendal I’m so sorry…” he told me.
