Chapter 103
“Kendal, will you come see me in about 30 minutes?” My dad asked, I groaned loudly
“okay” I finally said and hung up.
I forced myself up and literally pulled on some tights and a hoodie with my Nikes and left the double French braids I slept in in my hair because I was still tired. I made coffee and then went to my dad’s office. It was sort of his pack house, but he didn’t have a pack so it as just a place where all the slime ball rogues came to look for business. It creeped me out being around all those men who all looked rough and questionable.
I finally got there and quickly went to his office ignoring one wolf whistle and not making eye contact with anyone else. When I walked in my dad was sitting at his desk, his office was different from Dez’s. It was just simple but there were books that lined every inch of the wall and it seemed old and dusty.
There was a guy in there who smiled when he saw me but I could tell he wasn’t expecting me. He was cute, he was huge. He was around 6,4 and was super muscular, like I could even see the veins on his gigantic muscles. He had a sleeve covering his whole right arm to his wrist and he had another tattoo on his neck of a wolf.
He had hair that was kind of shaved on the side but extremely long and slicked back in the front. It was wild and really attractive, he needed to shave but it wasn’t that bad. He didn’t look like the typical rogues. He looked young still, I could see excitement in his brown eyes.
“What’s up?” I asked questionably coming to stand next to the guy in standing in front of my dads desk. He had on a simple muscle shirts and some grey joggers with Adidas. He seemed very… frat boyish.
“This is Eric” he said motioning to the large thing next to me which now had a name. I turned to him and said a small hi and then turned back to my dad confused. He was still looking at me expectantly. I raised an eyebrow, then I looked at Eric who was looking between my father and 1.
“What did you need Dad?” I finally asked.
“Dad? This is your daughter?” Eric asked his eyebrow rose, he looked almost amused and surprised.
“This is my oldest daughter, Kendal” He stuck his large hand out and I shook it, he gave me a big white smile and I gave him a small one.
“Okay you’re both dismissed.” My dad said, was he serious? This was it. He woke me up to meet this guy. Okay dad. I rolled my eyes and then went for the door throwing my dad the peace sign my head as I
walked out. Eric followed.
“Hey, so where are you going?” he asked. Oh dear god please go away.

“To take a nap.” I responded giving him a grin.
“Were you working out or something?” he asked,
“What? No” I asked looking down seeing that I actually did have on basic workout clothes.
“You should come work out with me sometime”
“maybe” I responded quietly.
“What about tomorrow?” he suggested, I sighed. I wasn’t doing anything. It would probably be good for me to get my mind off things and have something to work towards. I hadn’t worked out regularly since high school.
“Okay” I finally agreed, he grinned and did a fist pump.
week later…
“Kendal get up” I made a whining noise and turned over pulling all my blankets around me.
“Kendal. Get. Up.”
“No” I said automatically.
“Kendal.” Eric said trying to sound stern.
“Go a
away” I whined. I could hear him sigh and I imagined him rolling his eyes.
“I’ll buy you a smoothie, strawberry and banana, your favorite” he offered.

“Okay” I said simply getting up, giving him a cheeky grin. I got up and pulled on some nike shorts and a hoodie since it was really early and it would be cold outside. I pulled my shoes on and braided. into double French braids and went downstairs, Eric on my heels.
Eric and I worked out together every morning. He was really cool and fun to be around so I wasn’t ever
my body had really bored around him. Plus he pushed me to the limit almost every day, but by now adapted and I was gaining muscle mass. I hadn’t yet told him about Dez and he never brought it up.
I didn’t have time to actually ever sit down and think about it, between workouts with Eric and Jenny dragging me everywhere with her, I was literally never alone. But I could feel the hole in my chest still, and if I thought about him it hurt to breathe. I wondered why he would leave me here. I didn’t understand why he would just get rid of me after we mated, I didn’t really have time to get my thoughts in order either so everything was just a jumble of things that had happened and confusion.
Eric and I ran a couple miles then just did basic circuit workouts at the gym and by the time we were done it was lunch time so we went out for smoothies and then he took me to my dad’s. Jenny was actually
