Chapter 99
“Kendal you do know if you don’t shut up, I’m never going to get my work done”
Why
do you have to do it now anyways?” I asked pouting slightly, he rolled his eyes and started signing some papers and stuff while I chewed on my lip letting my mind wander. I watched him as he read over things, and is brow furrowed and then he would sign whatever it was.
I had barely two days with him, he could do this any day. Finally, I sighed and then got up and walked around his desk and took his pen out of his hand, he looked at me with a questioning but annoyed look still. I pushed myself up on the desk sitting on the papers.
“Pay attention to me.” I stated. It was hard not to because I was on top of his work, I wasn’t really giving
him a choice.
“Kendal, the quicker I can do my work the quicker I can get you home.” He told me, but his eyes were brighter. He liked this.
“Why can’t you do me first and then you can do your work?” I questioned letting my own annoyance slip
into my voice.
“You’re so fucking persistent.” He cursed, I gave him a cute smile and a shrug. He stared at me for a long minute his eyes changed a shade darker, his eyes looked me up and down each time slower than the next.
“Fuck it” he finally said and crushed our lips together, except this time his hands went to the button of my shorts instead of to my shirt. I kissed him back just as urgently feeling adrenaline rush through my body. He stood up and picked me up taking me with him across the room. He slammed me roughly against the wall, the breath got knocked out of me with the impact, while Dez kissed down my neck biting me occasionally. I heard him lock the door and this time he nipped at my mark and my whole body jerked in response. I moaned loudly and my eyes rolled back into my head, as I tilted my head up giving him better
access.
His hands unzipped my shorts and then went to the sides of them and he yanked the down as hard as he could, taking my panties with them. This was actually happening. In Dez’s office. Against a wall. Nice

I let my trembling hands fall to the lining of his jeans but he growled loudly making me jump, causing chills to over my skin. He grabbed my hand pushing it out of the way. He returned his lips to mine and I kissed back eagerly, I was shaking and my heart was pounding. My abdomen clenched, the feelings were foreign but I knew what needed to be done to satisfy the craving.
My hands went to the button of his jeans and an even louder growl escaped him and this time he didn’t just shove my hand away he grabbed it tightly and then grabbed the other and then he pinned them above my head against the wall. I gasped because he did it so aggressively and quickly, but didn’t protest.
Chapter 99
Then the dreadful sound of knocking filled my ears, I let out a small whimper as Dez’s lips disappeared
from my neck.
“Damn” I cursed. He took in a deep breath and rested his head on my shoulder. I prayed he would ignore it, every pore in my body was ignited with electricity and just crackling with the wait. He kept his head. nuzzled in my neck for a few seconds longer then he let go of my hands and dropped my body. His hands moved down my thighs and gently pulled my panties up and then my shorts. He leaned down pressing a firm kiss to my lips.
“Dez” I protested quietly as another dreadful knock was heard over the sound of our combined heavy breathing.
“This will be finished at home. You’re going to be quiet while I work the rest of the day. And if I ever hear a word like that come out of your mouth again I will not hesitate to punish you for it.” He commanded, his voice was stern and icy and hard all at the same time. He was telling me what was going to happen, and he expected it to happen. I found myself nodding in response leaning closer to him.
“Go sit.” He demanded, I gave him a small nod before obediently walking to my chair off to the side of the room as another knock was heard, Dez opened the door the same time I down.
“What the fuck do you want?” Dez growled at the person.
“Am I interrupting?” the mischievous voice of Michael rang throughout the room, Dez’s posture relaxed noticeably and the took his hand off the door letting it open as he went back to his desk. Michael winked at me as Dez’s back was turned.
“Kendal” he said giving me a childish grin nodding his head at me.
“Michael.” I responded not shy on letting my irritation show in my voice.
Michael sat across from Dez on the opposite side of the desk and told him random details from the day.
“Two rogues were caught, they’re in the cell block. I called KC he’ll be here tomorrow. Security was ran this morning but I’m running it again tonight. There’s a rumored attack on us tonight so I’ll put about 4 extra guards out and they can all handle whatever it is, if they go through with it. Alpha Keith contacted you and wants a call back, and only three threats were made today. Alpha Brayden is supposed to call and-” he went on like that for a little while bringing up random alphas, meetings Dez needed to attend, rumors from scouts about attacks happening, who their next target was and things about the pack itself.
