Jessica looks puzzled. “Why? I think this place is great! It would be a shame for it to stay abandoned. Why not let me move in here?”
As she asks, Jessica blinks her big eyes at Charles, her expression fills with hope like a kitten waiting for its owner’s approval.
But the brief warmth in Charles’s demeanor freezes again.
Seeing this,
Jessica’s face falls, and she pouts, “Charlie… Did I say something wrong?”
Charles raises his gaze, glancing at the window of my room.
A subtle, almost imperceptible smirk tugs at his lips, hinting at a challenge.
He then wraps his arm around Jessica, speaking softly, “No, not at all. I just think you
deserve to live in a better place.”
“This place is too shabby. If you’re looking to relocate, you’d batter choose the Davis.
estate.”
Charles holds Jessica in his arms, but his gaze remains fixed on the window of my room, almost as if he were waiting for me to witness this scene.
Upon hearing his words, Jessica’s face lights up with joy. “Really? You’re actually letting me move into the Davis estate?”-
The Davis estate is the ancestral home of the Davis family, a place only they are.

Charles’s words imply that he is considering making Jessica part of that family, and that excitement is evident in her eager expression.

Before Jessica can respond, he adds, “But remember, this place is my private territory. If it weren’t for you, your bodyguards and friends wouldn’t leave here alive today.”
His casual tone sends a chill through the room, startling everyone. They all know that Charles is ruthless and doesn’t make empty threats.
With her bodyguards and friends watching nervously, Jessica clings tightly to Charles.
“I knew you cared for me the most!”
Charles smirks, leaning in closer to whisper in her ear, “Do you know what I love most about you?”
Jessica’s eyes sparkle with anticipation. “What?”
He gently lifts her chin and presses a deep, passionate kiss on her lips. “I love the way you say you love me with that pretty face.”
The sudden display of affection makes Jessica blush deeply, her cheeks turning a bright shade of red.
“Oh! Wait!” she exclaims suddenly, her eyes gleaming with a mischievous light.
She hurries over to me, dragging my lifeless body towards Charles.
With a triumphant grin, she announces, “Honey, this is the plastic surgery woman
who sneaked into the villa. I took care of her for you!”
Lying on the ground, I feel utterly lifeless.
My hair has been burned away, my scalp is covered in wounds, and my face is so swollen it is unrecognizable.
Blood stains my skin, and the severed part of my tongue gushes crimson, creating a
gruesome scene.
Charles doesn’t even recognize me.
The look he gives me is filled with disdain, as if I were nothing but a piece of filth.
