Chapter 7
With those words, Glen’s mask of false affection shattered completely.
He yelled, “Susan, you’re asking for trouble!”
Facing his anger, I calmly reminded him,
“It’s time, the court is starting.”
With that, I ignored him and walked into the courtroom with a relaxed expression.
Glen sat in his seat, fidgeting nervously.
Before the judge could announce the verdict, he suddenly blurted out in a panic.
“Judge, if you rule in my favor, I’ll give you a lot of money.”
The judge looked at him coldly and reminded him,
“Bribing a judge can lead to a prison sentence of five to ten years. Are you sure?”
Instantly, Glen shut his mouth.
Finally, the judge announced the final result of the divorce case.
“According to the principle of protecting the rights of the innocent party: If one party is guilty of bigamy, cohabitation with someone else, domestic violence, or abandonment of family members,! the innocent party can receive a larger share of the property in the divorce settlement.”
“Therefore, the plaintiff, Susan, should receive two–thirds of the pre–marital assets, while the defendant, Glen, who is suspected of infidelity with solid evidence, will only receive one–third of the pre–marital assets.”
“Moreover, Glen has repeatedly disrupted court order, and is hereby fined 5,000 dollars for disturbing the court.”
With a decisive slam of the gavel, I bowed slightly to the judge.
The first lawsuit in six years, fought for myself, ended with an unquestionable victory.
I walked out of the court leisurely, while behind me, Glen was nearly in tears.

Πε turned red and swollen in no time, and it looked painful.
Helen, who was standing nearby, rushed over and helped Glen.
“Babe, don’t do this, it hurts my heart.”
“Even if we don’t have money, we can still earn it together! I’ll always be by your side, whether we’re poor or rich…”
But before she could finish her words, Glen, with bloodshot eyes, shoved her away.
“It’s all your fault! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be this unlucky! Earn money? What can you, a woman, earn? Everything you’ve worn and used over the years was bought with my credit card!
Talking so easily about earning money–there’s no way you’ll ever earn enough, not in this life or the
next!”
After being shoved, He Wan fell hear to th
ground.
Her forehead hit the ground and started bleeding profusely.
But before she could feel the pain, Glen’s words, like sharp knives, stabbed into her heart.
She looked at him in disbelief.
“Babe, what are you saying?”
“You never wanted me to suffer, did you?”
But now, there was no trace of pity in Glen’s eyes.
He sneered madly, mocking her with disdain.
“You really think just because you’ve been wearing gold and silver for a few days, you’re a real rich girl? It can’t cover up the fact that you were once a bar slut!”
After he said that, Helen froze, finally realizing what kind of person Glen was.
I sighed as I watched this scene.

Twasn’t much better than Helen. It was only recently that I discovered Glen’s true nature.
Javaved my hand to the roadside and hailed a taxi.
Just as I was about to get in, Glen seemed to remember something.
He rushed forward, blocking my way.
“Give me my money back!”
I looked at him in confusion.
“Didn’t the judge already divide the property clearly? I don’t owe you anything, right?”
“The money I transferred to you on the platform was spent, so it’s not considered pre–marital property anymore. Give it back to me, you’re a fraud.”
Hearing his words, I smiled.
“What do I need to scam you for? I’m a top lawyer, and yes, I was the first in the global lawyer competition.”
But Glen continued to stretch his hand toward me, his tone harsh.
