Chapter 5
“That’s my hard–earned money, and you want to take my property? What have you done? Just stayed at home eating free meals!”
The judge could no longer hold back and shot Glen a cold stare.
“If the plaintiff continues to disrupt the court proceedings, he will be charged with disturbing the
court’s order.”
At these words, Glen immediately quieted down.
Meanwhile, I calmly attacked the fact that he had transferred money to me.
“Your Honor, here are my shopping receipts from the past six years. They prove that the money he gave me was entirely spent on buying household items for our shared life, as well as expensive luxury gifts for the plaintiff during holidays and anniversaries.”
That’s right, all these years, the living expenses he transferred to me were entirely spent on groceries–either abalone or sea cucumbers, specifically to help him with his health.
And during the holidays, without hesitation, I bought him high–end luxury products.
I then pointed to everything Glen was wearing.
“That suit, that tie, those shoes, and even the underwear inside–all of them were bought by me, and they weren’t cheap.”
At the sight of my pointing, Glen fell silent for once, his face turning pale.
All these years, the money he gave me ended up being spent on him. What’s ridiculous is that he thought I was greedy for his money, so the gifts he bought me were all cheap knock–offs.
When I was still a top lawyer, I never held back–always meticulous and calculating.
But after marrying him, I became petty. Even when buying vegetables at the market, if the vendor overcharged me by a dime, I’d sit down on a stool and argue with them.
Luckily, I had developed the habit of meticulous record–keeping.
From the dime I spent on ice cream to the thousands of dollars I spent on a tie and clothes for Glen, I kept all the receipts and recorded everything.
This Dansekter Almost Killed For His Mistress’s Christmas
– the judge pushed up his glasses, and the light Bashed across the lenses.
The evidence is valid
“Do you have any other supporting evidence for your claims?”
Glen glared at me, pretending to be indifferent, arrogantly lifting his chin.
its eyes seemed to say, “So, is that all? Just this?”
But I met his gaze calmly and slightly curved my lips into a smile.
Then, in front of everyone, I took out a recorder.
The moment he saw it, Glen’s eyes went wide.
He instinctively shouted, “What’s this?”
I didn’t respond to Glen but respectfully addressed the judge.
“Your Honor, this is the evidence of the plaintiff’s infidelity.”
The judge took the recorder and immediately played it in court.
“I’ve already prepared for divorce. Every time I used her, she would just lie there like a dead fish on the bed, without any energy. That’s nothing compared to my Helen.”
“Brother, people outside say you really love your Honey. Divorce? Is that true?”
“The reason I’ve created that image outside is just to prevent her from taking half of my assets. ‘Spolling my Honey“? Laughable. It’s unbelievable that some people actually believe it!”
“All the things I gave her were things that Helen didn’t want. Even the transfer money I sent during holidays was done with an ulterior motive. Also, thank goodness I didn’t put her name on the house deed when I married her.”
Each unabashed word echoed throughout the
- courtroom.
Every sentence that was revealed made Glen’s face turn whiter.
“By the end, he rushed out of the plaintiff’s seat, attempting to grab the recorder.
Be shouted, “This is all fake!”
These words were fabricated by this woman. I never said any of that!”
The court staff quickly stopped him.
The judge’s eyes darkened.
“The authenticity of the evidence will be decided by the court. This court is committed to justice for the people.
