Chapter 4
Only then did Glen realize something and hurriedly pulled out the lawsuit documents.
As he read through them, his face turned red with anger, and there was a faint hint of despair.
Everything in the documents was in my favor.
He couldn’t hold it in anymore and shouted at me again.
“You bitch!”
But I remained unaffected, putting on a pitiful act and forcing out a few tears.
“Your Honor, this is how the plaintiff treats me. He abuses me at will. Under his domestic violence, I’ve become mentally unstable.”
I was collecting evidence on the spot, and I was secretly pleased that Glen had unwittingly added more to my case.
Helen anxiously shouted at Glen.
“Glen, don’t let this woman provoke you! She’s doing this on purpose. Stay calm and don’t let her lead you by the nose!”
In a crucial moment, Helen managed to bring Glen back to his senses.
Glen finally settled down.
On the surface, he appeared calm, but his trembling body and fidgeting fingers betrayed his anxiety.
The judge called for silence again.
“The parties will now present their claims and reasons.”
The plaintiff will present evidence first.
Glen, without any lawyer to assist him, was completely clueless.
His lips were pale, and he spoke in broken sentences.

House properly, and doesn’t want to have children with me.”
His words were completely disorganized.
Hearing his claims, I almost wanted to laugh.
Six years I spent doing the housework, working from dawn to dusk–I’ve done more work than a
mule.
And what did he do? Eat the food I cooked, and complain if it didn’t suit his taste.
Sleep with me, then complain I was like a dead fish.
The
judge frowned at his illogical statements but still managed to pick out some key points.
“Do you have evidence of the plaintiff’s infidelity?”
At the mention of evidence, Glen became visibly agitated.
He quickly pulled out his phone and showed the transfer records, confidently presenting them.
“I gave her so much money every holiday, and I even paid a large monthly allowance for her. After all these years, she should have saved at least a few hundred thousand, but there’s nothing in her
account.”
A staff member handed the evidence to the judge.
The documents listed numerous large transfers, all marked with a note saying, “Not voluntary gifts!
Glen, seeing the judge’s perplexed expression, thought the judge understood him.
His earlier fear faded, replaced by confidence. He was sure of his victory.
“Where did the money go? If not to keep a little boy on the side, what else could she have done with
it?”
His voice grew louder.
“So, my only request is that she returns all the money I sent her. And forget about getting a single penny!”
The judge nodded sternly, signaling that he understood.

“It’s now time for the defendant to present their evidence.”
Unlike Glen’s slow and disorganized approach, I calmly and methodically laid out all of my hard
evidence.
Then, I smiled confidently and said. “My request is to dismiss all of the plaintiff’s claims and to have
the plaintiff compensate me for both emotional damages over the past six years.”
“Furthermore, after the divorce, regarding the division of assets, I request that the principle of protecting the rights of the innocent party be applied, and the majority of the assets should be divided in my favor…”

Before I could finish, Glen erupted.
“What nonsense are you talking about!”
