The first thing that Silas learned when he arrived at his pack was that Cielle had a guest and when he heard the name of the guest, he shifted into his beast and bolted into the pack house.
There was no way he would let Cielle to stay with that vicious woman and he was right, because right now, that woman was trying to make Cielle to visit her jerk of a son.
F**k her and her son!
“What are you doing here?!” Silas glowered. Thankfully, it was Meda and no matter how angry he was, he didn’t condone the act of hurting woman, even more someone as old as Meda.
“Al- alpha Silas…” Meda stuttered when she saw Silas was there, standing so tall, as if he wanted to murder her right there and then.
Her courage evaporated into thin air the moment she faced the lycan, she cowered away. Her first thought was that Silas would hit her.
However, Silas didn’t have time to waste his energy on her, he called the warriors to drag her out of the pack house, out of their territory.
“Don’t let her return! I don’t want her to step
inside
my pack!”
“Understood alpha,” the warriors replied in unison, the two of them then approached Meda and asked her to stand up, so they could leave, or else, they would be forced to drag her just like what the alpha had ordered them to do.
Meanwhile, Silas pushed Cielle’s wheelchair to their bedroom, he could see how exhausted she was, but still, she tried to talk with him.
“Don’t be angry, Silas. Don’t be angry to the warriors, because I was the one that wanted to see her,” Cielle said, pleading with Silas.
Meanwhile, Keyla followed behind the two of them, putting distance between them.
“Silas…” Cielle touched his hand when he didn’t answer her, she knew that he wouldn’t be mad at her for long, but she didn’t want him to lash out to other people.
“You need to rest.” Silas then carried her to the bed, once they were already in the room. But, Cielle didn’t want to let go of this matter.
She could still hear how Meda was putting a fight with the warriors, as she tried to call Cielle out and beg to her a little bit more about why she should come with her and how bad Kenan missed her, as if she cared.
“Silas…” Cielle held his hand before he could leave.
Initially, he could just leave and swat her hand, because she didn’t hold so much power to stop him physically, but he couldn’t do that. He couldn’t let go of this frail hand that held onto him.
Therefore, despite his anger and annoyance, he retreated and then sat on the edge of her bed. “Sleep.”
“No, until you promise me that you will not lash out to your warriors. I was the one, who wanted to meet with her.” “They should just kick her out, there is no need for them to ask you
first.”
“Don’t you think that will be rude? I will be disappointed…” Cielle then told him about how she felt when Kean asked her whether or not for them to allow Meda to enter the pack.

She felt that her opinion was matter and her word held some weight. She liked the feeling and on top of that, because with that, she felt like they appreciated her and welcomed her as part of the pack.
She felt this warm feeling inside of her.
“Please, if you punished them, I know that they wouldn’t do it again, but don’t you think it will hurt my relationship with your pack member?”
“They will not dare…”
“Silas… we don’t know how people felt about us. They could pretend that they like me on the surface because they are afraid of you, but I don’t want that.”
Silas was no longer angry at this point and he simply listened to what Cielle was going to say.
“I want them to know me, I want them to be close to me not because of you, but because they wanted to.” Cielle had gone through a lot in Kenan’s pack, she didn’t want to go through the same pain of rejection from the pack member, because at that time, Meda and Ensley made sure that none of the pack member liked her. “If you punished them, how they would see me later?”
Silas was silent for a while. He didn’t look furious anymore, but simply stared at their entwined hand together.
“Silas, promise me.”
“I promise.”
What else Silas could do? If she asked him to promise her, he would do it without a second thought. He would do anything for her.
“I will not lash out to them only if you took rest. It must be exhausting to face her.”
Cielle giggled when she heard that. “You are right about that one thing. I shouldn’t have let her in. My day will be blissful.”
Silas leaned over and kissed her forehead.
“Let’s get the ceremony,” Cielle suddenly said. She lifted her head in time to see the confusion and shock in S**s’s eyes, but most i ortantly, there was this disbelief.
“What did you just say?” Silas asked, his voice was very husky and Cielle liked the sound of it.
“Let’s get the ceremony.” Cielle repeated what she said and smiled.
It took a while for Silas to reciprocate the smile and kissed her forehead again. “Can I kiss your lips?”
Silas asked for permission, but when he moved closer to her lips and she didn’t reject his advance, he captured hers with his.
His kiss was so gentle, it felt like a light feather, it almost felt like he was too afraid to hurt her if he let his desire a little bit loose.
“Why did you change your mind?” Silas was breathless in the end of their kiss.
“Because I want you.”
