Chapter 28
Cielle blinked her eyes groggily when she woke up, she felt the room was warm and when she tilted her head, she saw Silas.
The sight of him made her rubbed her face, thinking that this was a dream, because she was sure that Silas was not here.
Did her parents kept their words and let Silas to visit? Or this was only some lucid dream because she missed him so bad.
Cielle didn’t believe it until she could touch him, thus she stretched out her hand and touched his cheek. It was real, because the second later, he opened his eyes and their eyes met.
“Good morning, beautiful…” Silas said with a sleepy smile on his lips.
“You are here…” Cielle said dreamily. The room became a little bit colorful and the sunlight looked brighter with the presence of this lycan.
“Yes, I am here… are you disappointed because I am here?” Silas asked, his eyes searched for her.
Silas didn’t care what Adrian said, but if that was true that Cielle didn’t want to be with him, probably he needed to prepare a speech to beg her to let him be with her.
He would do everything in his power to fulfill whatever she wanted, but he would only beg to let him stay with her.
However, thankfully, that was not something that Silas needed to worry about, because the feeling was mutual. This was what Cielle felt about him too.
“Why it took you so long?” Cielle asked, her eyes glistened with tears when she spoke. “Why it took you so long to come here and get
me.”
Only then Silas realized he was right all along, he shouldn’t have doubted himself in this regard, because he knew Cielle like the back of his hands, no, he knew her better than he knew himself.
“I am sorry, Cielle… I am really sorry to take me so long to get you….” Silas said softly, he caught her hand and kissed her knuckles. “Do you want me to take you back to our pack now?”

e nodded. “Yes, please.” She didn’t want to be here anymore, she didn’t want her parents to control her and take her aw from Silas. She was done with them. They had betrayed her trust and wanted to confine her here.
“Let’s go
now.” Silas then stood up. “Is there something you wanted to take with you?”
“No. There is nothing I want to take from here.”
Cielle couldn’t care less with dress, because Silas would provide that for her, he already bought a few pieces of clothes the moment she arrived at his pack and there were some that she had not yet even worn.
“Let’s go now,” Silas said. He bent his body and scooped Cielle in his arms, along with her blanket, so she wouldn’t feel cold.
Out of instinct, Cielle wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face against his chest. She closed her eyes and felt peaceful to be able to be with him again.
This was the reassurance that Silas needed because after this, there was nothing that could stop him, not even Adrian.
The alpha and the luna were in the kitchen when they saw Silas carried Cielle in his arms in house.

“Where are you going?! Where will you take her?!” luna Maia screamed, she dropped everything that she was doing and immediately rushed toward Silas and Cielle, demanding for him to put down Cielle from his arms, but of course the lycan wouldn’t listen to her

Chapter 28
“She didn’t want to be here anymore,” Silas said in a matter of fact tone, he glanced at Cielle and saw her with her eyes closed. “She is sleeping, don’t be noisy.”
Maia clamped her mouth, but there was no way she would let Silas to bring Cielle without a fight.
Adrian immediately stormed out of the house and blocked him from there. “You are not going to take the car with you!”
It would take twenty minutes for Silas to get to the border, where his warriors and the healer had been waiting for him since last night because they didn’t have any idea about what to do in this situation, since they were not left with any instruction.
“Do you think Cielle wanted to go with you!? You can’t take her against her wishes!” Adrian yelled his head off, as he glared at the lycan. “What do you think you are doing?!”
“I want to leave, father. I don’t want to be here. I thought I have made myself clear…” Cielle said, she suddenly opened her eyes tiredly. She realized almost immediately that her parents must have said something awful and was not true to Silas.
Therefore, she used this opportunity to clarify that. More so, her parents were being so loud, she couldn’t fall asleep in peace.
“Cielle… please think about it again…” Maia was crying at this point.
And after a long argumentation back and forth, Adrian was too upset because Cielle didn’t stand for her parents, thus they didn’t allow Silas to take the car at all. He needed to walk toward the border on his own, if he insisted to take Cielle away.
“Fine,” Silas said curtly.
He could walk a whole day with Cielle in his arms, if he had to. He would even do it to hear her laughter like she used to laugh in the past.
“You are too much, father…” Cielle said before she ignored them and let this blissful feeling of being in Si**’s arms seeped into her every pore.
“Sleep, Cielle. We will be home shortly.” Silas kissed her forehead and Cielle really fell asleep after that.
She didn’t realize there was a long journey between her pack and Si***’s pack. Silas took a good care of her on the way and Cielle would be knocked off most of the time.
When she woke up, she was in S**’s pack.
