“Yes, I had a quiet night’s sleep and now feel much better,” Roselynn said, stretching lazily. She knew Hank and Wyatt had taken turns guarding her throughout the night, fearing she might try to escape. So, instead, she
decided to sleep peacefully and wait for her chance.

“Then perhaps you can try recalling the Dragon Tome again?” Gwain asked
with a polite smile, still maintaining a friendly facade.
“Mr. Gwain, I really want to help you,” Roselynn replied, suddenly adopting a
sincere expression. “You and my brother are both famous heroes, and you’re
so handsome–it’s no wonder women are drawn to you!”
Gwain smiled, pleased by her flattery, though Hank sneered from behind him. “Hmph, your brother is not worthy to be mentioned alongside Mr. Gwain. He’s just a minor grandmaster from Nuthana, nowhere near the level of the
world’s greatest.”
Roselynn internally cursed him and his ancestors. My brother has more honor in his little finger than you three frauds combined! But outwardly, she smiled
and said, “Well, being the Grandmaster of Nuthana is still impressive, even if
he’s not as strong as the great Mr. Gwain.”
Gwain accepted her praise, though he tried to appear modest. “Miss Roselynn, you flatter me. Whether I’m truly the best is still up for debate. But if you can recite the Dragon Tome for me, I’ll make sure not to let you down–I’ll

Roselynn fought the urge to gag but kept her expression one of admiration.
“Mr. Gwain, I really want to help you, but being stuck in this small, confined
space is making me feel suffocated. I can’t think straight in here.”
“Don’t play games with us, woman! Or you’ll regret it! Hank growled,
threatening her.

Roselynn played to her strengths, showing fear rather than resistance. She let
her body tremble slightly and said in a shaky voice, “Oh, Mr. Gwain, I’m so
scared!”
As expected, her reaction triggered Gwain’s protective instinct. He
immediately scolded Hank, “Show some respect to a lady! Especially one as
beautiful as Miss Roselynn. We aren’t bandits. We’re just trying to recover
what rightfully belongs to the Lannister family.”
“Yes, Mr. Gwain, I was out of line,” Hank replied, rolling his eyes inwardly. He
wondered how long they’d have to babysit this woman.

“Mr. Gwain, would you take me outside for a walk? Maybe if I get some fresh
air and clear my head, I’ll be able to remember the Dragon Tome more
clearly,” Roselynn pleaded, batting her eyes at him.

we’ll take a walk. But Miss Roselynn, once we return, I hope you’ll be able to
recall the text. Otherwise, we’ll be forced to take stricter measures. I hope you
understand.”
“I do! You and my brother are both such amazing heroes–I’ll do my best to
help you,” Roselynn said sweetly, doing her best to lower Gwain’s guard.
Though Gwain appeared softened, he wasn’t a fool. He remained cautious,
knowing full well that Roselynn was a clever opponent.
The four of them left in a car, with Hank sticking close to Roselynn, ensuring
she couldn’t escape. If she tried anything suspicious, he was ready to knock
her out in an instant.
“Mr. Gwain, look! There’s a performance by Maestro Moretti today!” Wyatt
