Love Storys–Chapter 1
It was my third year working on a dishwasher at the Rowen Family when I accidentally saw two birth certificates.
It turned out that Mr. Rowen was my husband, and Mrs. Rowen was his “white moonlight.”
Everyone had been helping them deceive me.
I thought at least I still had my twin daughters..
But to my shock, my eldest daughter pointed at my nose and angrily shouted, “You’re not our mother! You’re a wicked woman who nearly killed Mom Madeline!”
The younger one glared at me viciously and said, “Why don’t you just die? If you died, our family of four could live happily together forever.”
Kingsley Rowen coldly tossed a divorce agreement at me.
“It doesn’t matter if you find out. Just sign it!”
What? He wanted me to leave with nothing?
This man, a so–called “phoenix man” son–in–law, dared to ask for that?
The birth certificates of the girls showed that their father was Kingsley Rowen, and their mother was
- me.
No wonder I kept having strange dreams, no wonder the Rowen Manor always felt so eerie, and no wonder I kept feeling that Lucy and Celeste Rowen looked like me.
It felt as if my head were about to explode, as all the past events rushed back into my mind.
It turned out that Kingsley Rowen and his “white moonlight” had used my memory loss to create a Truman Show–like world, trapping me for three whole years.
“Slacking off again?”
A sharp scolding voice came from behind me.
In a panic. I hid the birth certificates in my clothes.

Akick struck my back, and the pain was sharp and searing.
Once you’re done cleaning, go clean somewhere else!”
The butler looked down at me with a face full of contempt.
I stared at his face, and a bitter feeling slowly rose in my chest.
It was me who had appointed him as the butler all those years ago, and I had always been generous with him and the other servants.
But over these three years, he had beaten and scolded me without regard for my dignity.
He even encouraged the other servants to bully me.
One maid saw me about to throw the dirty clothes from the laundry basket into the washing machine and coldly said, “Mrs. Rowen said all her clothes have to be hand–washed in cold water. Are you stupid? Can’t even remember that?”
I retorted, “I’m just here to wash the dishes. I don’t do anything else!”
The butler coldly replied, “Mrs. Rowen said your main task is washing dishes, but you still need to help with other chores. If you don’t want this job, pack your things and leave!”
As soon as he finished, several of the other servants burst out laughing.
I filled a large basin with cold water, and with a fierce glare, I suddenly splashed it all over them.
They screamed immediately.
The butler was about to strike me, but I kicked him in the knee, and he collapsed onto the
with a thud.
His face twisted in pain as he pointed at me, snarling, “You’ve gone too far! Mr. and Mrs. Rowen are about to come home. We’ll see how they deal with you!”
That’s exactly what I wanted to hear.
For three years, I had been deceived and bullied in a haze.
I couldn’t wait to see them now.
The butler and servants didn’t understand why I suddenly went mad, but they didn’t dare to provoke
me anymore.

Footsteps approached outside the door.
The first one to enter was Lucy Rowen.
She glanced at me, her lips curling into a wicked smile, and before I could react, she threw one of
her shoes at me.
Seeing me dodge, she charged at me, fists flying
“How dare you! Did I tell you to move?
I threw it because I was being generous. Do you get it?”
Her punches were strong, each one hitting me hard.
I gritted my teeth, enduring the pain, and grabbed her wrist.
Seeing her sister being restrained, Celeste Rowen rushed over like a gust of wind, punching and
kicking me.
