As night fell over the Saint Jose Hotel, the venue buzzed with activity.

The hotel’s entrance was lined with luxury cars, each delivering their distinguished passengers–whether sharply dressed professionals or elegantly attired socialites. The atmosphere resembled a dazzling red carpet affair.
A red Ferrari arrived at the hotel’s entrance. Frank stepped out of the driver’s seat and moved to open the passenger door, his hand resting casually on the car’s roof.
Lisette emerged, her white stiletto heels clicking on the pavement. Her silver gown flowed elegantly to the floor, catching the light with every step,
Frank extended his hand towards Lisette, his blue eyes reflecting warmth as they met hers.
Her long, curly hair draped over her left shoulder, exposing her right car. A delicate silver earring dangled gracefully to her collarbone, accentuating her sophisticated beauty.
Her makeup was subtle, enhancing her natural elegance without overpowering her features.
She placed her hand in his, and he held it firmly.
Lisette responded with a wry smile.
Leaning in slightly, Frank whispered, I’d prefer holding your hand over having you cling to my arm.
Frank had a knack for speaking in affectionate terms, which often frustrated Lisette, but she was too lazy to respond.

As they walked in, the valet drove off with their car.
Moments later, an Aston Martin arrived.
The driver opened the door to reveal William stepping out in a sleek black suit. His tall, commanding presence was highlighted beneath the hotel’s grand crystal chandeliers.
William surveyed the crowd with a calm, observant air.
His tall, slender figure moved with elegance, the light catching the edges of his suit–hike delicate blooms. Nearby, Lisette was engaged in conversation, though the surrounding noise made it difficult for her to

Her smile was soft, her profile gentle, and her long lashes fluttered with each blink. Her presence seemed to outshine the ambient light around her.
William’s gaze sharpened slightly.

Lisette had trouble hearing him over the lively chatter and had to lean closer to catch his words.
With a playful smile, she replied, “Stop with the flattery We have a business to handle.”

Frank had brought her to this gala to introduce her to influential figures in the fashion world and to promote Fentine’s brand, aiming to expand their influence.
“Don’t worry. Even if I seem laid–back, it’s just a front.”
Frank’s attempts to pronounce Borovian correctly always amused Lisette. He had an accent and would sometimes mispronounce the easiest words, causing her to had to suppress a giggle.
Noticing her amusement, Frank’s smile grew wider, enchanted by her radiant expression.
“Lisette, you will always be the most captivating woman in my eyes.”
Lisette could only respond with a bemused silence.
She scanned the room, searching for their key contact for the evening.
Their primary focus was Bailey Lowe, the editor–in–chief of Trendsetter Magazine.
Trendsetter Magazine had long been a leading fashion publication, and getting a cover story was a major
achievement.
This was a perfect chance for networking.
Soon, Lisette spotted Bailey in a purple gown, engaged in conversation with a prominent industry figure while holding a glass of champagne.
“Frank, there’s Ms. Lowe, Lisette pointed out.
“Lisette, your eyes are truly remarkable, Frank commented.

They made their way over.
From a distance, Chase watched Lisette, retreating to a less noticeable corner.
At that moment, someone in the corner sipped a glass of red wine.
Chase’s lips curled into a knowing smile. “I knew you’d show up tonight.”
