Keira sat on the bed for a moment, bewildered, before quickly getting up to tidy up.
I went downstairs and saw my grandparents and Heidy there. She greeted politely.
Pretending to be nonchalant, I asked, “Has Derick already left?”
Heidy smiled and handed her a bowl of soup: She ran out early in the morning, just finished the competition, probably went to play with those friends.”
She nodded and praised the soup as delicious.
“By the way, Heidy, I will go out for a while later. I’m not sure if I will come back for lunch at noon. You don’t have to wait for me.”
Eh?” Heidy wondered, “Is there more work again?”
“I just signed a contract with a new company, and suddenly remembered that there is a document that I haven’t sorted out yet. I went to tidy it up.”
Keira answered without missing a beat, and Heidy had no doubts about him, only reminding him to stay safe.
She nodded and hurriedly drove to the police station.

The voice was loud and shrill, and a police officer glanced over here and said, “Don’t make loud noises.”
Keira glanced at her and noticed several ambiguous red marks on his neck. Strangely enough, there was a clear handprint on her face.

Last night she arrived at the bar, only to find out that Andres had already been taken to the hotel upstairs.

Marlee cried and screamed for someone to come and help, but no one came. She had no choice but to call the police.
When the police arrived, Andres was dressed in colorful clothes and didn’t forget to shout loudly, “Derick, do you think you’re so noble? You covet my woman every day and have the nerve to accuse me?”
“I
may not be noble, but I am not as despicable as you. You slept with other women and still called Keira your girlfriend. It disgusts me on her behalf!” Derick’s voice was low, his tone icy and full of mockery.
The police officer scolded, “Shut up!”
