Chapter 7 Warning

Everett, afraid that his wife would get even angrier, didn’t dare to delay and immediately made a phone call to Andres.
Kaitlyn paused for a moment to calm herself down and said, “Since Keira wants to develop her own career, you should help her. You know well about acting and directing. We still have some influence in the industry these years. Help her as much as possible.”
“Don’t worry about that. Keira is my best student. Back then, she withdrew because of Andres. I was the most heartbroken one. You forgot? I quarreled with this for that. I thought you shouldn’t introduce them to each other.
She sighed and said, “I regret it too every time I think about that.”
When Andres received the phone call, he was having a meal with Marlee.
She won
a big prize and invited him out, asking him to invite her to a a dinner. Andres was feeling upset because Keira wanted to break up with him. When he received a phone call and heard Marlee’s sweet voice, he agreed without even thinking.
He wished Keira was half as gentle and soft as Marlee.
“Keira called you?” Marlee was somewhat disappointed to see him answer the call during the
meal.
He frowned and shook his head, “It’s not her. My teacher suddenly called me, asking me to go to his place. I have to do.”
“Mr.
Watkins? He is
amazing.
Can you take me to visit him
together?
Andres wanted to refuse at first, but upon seeing the anticipation on her face, he swallowed his refusal.
He couldn’t help but hold her face and said, “Let’s go, but you need to be careful and cautious when we get there. He will be unhappy to see irrelevant people.”
Marlee pouted and clapped his hands. She said with her voice filled with anticipation.“I just want to meet Mr. Watkins. If I have the chance to act in a movie directed by him, even if it’s just a supporting role, I would be completely satisfied.”
Andres looked at her tenderly and said, “If he comes out again, I will try my best to help you fight for a role.”
Everett lived in a Western–style house, with a moderately sized courtyard in front and a regular fence gate as the entrance.
The two of them sat in the room. Through the window, they could see the scene at the front door.
Seeing Andres get out of the car, Everett said to his wife, “Don’t be too angry at Andres. I want them to be a happy couple. Keira is soft–hearted. Let Andres apologize and say something nice to Keira. Tell him to have some limits and keep a distance…”
Before he could finish his words, Kaitlyn slapped the table in anger.
Everett was taken aback, “Why are you so jumpy? Didn’t I say not to get too angry?”
“Don’t get too angry? Look who’s coming. How can I not get angry?”
Kaitlyn sneered and shouted at the maid who was about to open the door, “Don’t open the door

Kaitlyn watched as Andres got out of the car and then opened the car door for Marlee.
Everett saw Marlee and Andres standing side by side in front of the door. Marlee talked to Andres with her head slightly raised. She looked at the man beside her with a charming expression and a hint of admiration.
Actually, they looked perfect for each other.
But Keira looked better than Marlee.
Everett took out his phone and searched for Marlee’s name. He selected a photo and compared it to the girl outside the door over and over again.
Finally, he confirmed, “It’s Marlee.”
After saying this, he furrowed his brow, saying, “We don’t know her. What is she here for?”
“What is she here for? You’re getting old, and your mind doesn’t work well anymore!”
Kaitlyn felt suffocated and annoyed, saying, “Of course, she followed her friend to build connections!”
Everett chuckled and said, “You can feel sorry for Keira but don’t be too angry. That’s bad for your health. What should we do now? You decide.”
Andres pressed the doorbell for the second time outside.
“You called him and said that we had gone out temporarily before he arrived, and asked him to wait outside the door.”
Kaitlyn waved her hand again and said, “Alice, go and tell him that he’s late. Tell him that we went out ten minutes ago. Ask him to wait outside.”
Alice hesitated, “Mrs. Watkins, what should I say if
if he wants to come in?”
“Block the door. Don’t open it. Tell him that I let him wait outside.”
Everett
understood her. She let Andres wait to vent her anger for Keira.
But it was just a warning. Kaitlyn didn’t mean to be too harsh.
Alice hurriedly ran over and apologized to Andres, “Mr. Finley, I’m sorry. I was busy and didn’t hear the doorbell.”
She didn’t even open the door.
Andres
frowned slightly and
asked, “Where
are Mr. and Mrs. Watkins?
As soon as he asked, Everett called him.
“Okay, Mr. Watkins. I will wait
I will wait for you at home. No hurry. Okay. Okay.”
After he hung up the phone, Marlee tilted her head and smiled innocently, looking pure and harmless.“Well, let’s wait a bit then.
then. Anyway, I have nothing to do today.”
Andres gently patted her head to comfort him.
Then he looked at Alice and said, “Alice, can we go in then?”
Alice had no intention of opening the door. She politely smiled and said, “Mrs. Watkins asked to wait outside, they will be back soon.”
Andres looked bewildered, “Outside?”

Everett and Kaitlyn were good to him and Keira, treating them no differently than their ow Biological children.
They called him to come over but they suddenly left and refused to let him get into the hose? Andres asked, “Do you know what happened to them? Where did they go? If there’s any trouble, I can go and help.”
Alice shook her head and said, “I don’t know. They just told me that they had something to do Marlee stood by and sensed something wrong. She turned to reassure him, “Andres, don’t overthink it. Maybe they just had something urgent to attend to and asked us to wait here. Let’s wait for a while. It’s not hot today anyway. We can enjoy the scenery here. It’s a good place here She had her hair half–tied up today. In a white long dress with a big bow tied at the back want, she looked pure and sweet, just like a college student who had not yet graduated
She made her debut by playing the role of a pure and innocent girl in a campus drama. She was hailed by fans as all the men’s first love girlfriend.
Andres was attracted. He reached up to tidy her hair that had been tousled by the wind. Seeing how intimate they were, Kaitlyn almost dropped the cup in her hand. In a hurry, Everett intercepted and said, “Calm
down. This is from Oklahoma. Quite expensive. Kaitlyn snorted coldly and slammed the cup heavily on the table with a bang. Andres waited for one hour.
He glanced at his watch, with a hint of impatience on his face.
He wanted to make a phone call but was stopped by Marlee.
Her bangs on the side of her forehead were soaked with sweat, sticking to her skin. “Let’s wait a little longer. We have already waited for so long. What if we annoy Mr. Watkins? They might have a bad impression of us then.”
Andres took a deep breath, suppressing the restlessness in his heart.
They waited for about another half an hour. Then the neighbor next door came out of the house.
He asked with a smile, “You come to see Mr. Watkins?”
Andres remained silent, and Marlee simply replied, “Yes.”
“Sometimes I do envy Mr. Watkins and his wife. Although they have no children, they have their students come to visit them often after retirement. A beautiful girl came this morning
This neighbor was warm–hearted. Once she started talking, he couldn’t stop.“I have to say I have never seen such a beautiful girl before. Mr. Watkins is a film director. I wonder if that girl is his movie’s leading actress.”
Andres paid no attention to her, but Marlee was attracted by her remark. She had never seen such a beautiful girl before. Marlee wondered who was more beautiful than her, making the neighbor say something like this.
-She fell silent for a moment, then briefly introduced Keira’s characteristics. She asked, “Was it
her?”
