Aurora’s POV
“How are you feeling now, Aurora?” Alpha Adrian asked me in a calm tone, but I was uncomfortable because of Hunter’s father’s gaze on me. Noah was standing beside me, and I caught blocking his gaze towards me when Alpha Adrian asked me the question.
“I feeling fine, Alpha… Thanks for taking care of me the last night.” I thanked him sincerely and bowed my head in front of him. “You don’t need to be so humble, honey… I did what I must do.” He replied to me and then tilted his head lightly while raising his brows.
We were in the library right now where he asked us to meet him after the exam. Frank and Hunter were also standing behind me, and I could feel their defensive stance towards me. “Sit down, pups… I am not interrogating you all.” He instructed us with a light chuckle.
I glanced at Noah and blinked in confusion when I saw a stern expression on his face. Frank dragged a few chairs for us, and asked me to sit on one of them. Noah sat beside me closely. “Uhhhhh.. I want to know the reason behind your hostility towards Alpha Nevil, Aurora.” He asked me, taking me off guard.
I was baffled by his question and immediately looked behind me towards Hunter. He knitted his brows in confusion. I gulped hard when his gaze met mine. Did Alpha Adrian need to be so direct?
I moved my gaze towards Alpha Adrian again while gulping hard again. “I also felt the same thing, Aurora, and I also want to know why you are so hostile towards me.” Alpha Nevil spoke to me this time in a calm tone.
“It… it’s not like that, Alpha… I… I apologize if you felt that way.” immediately apologized in a low tone, lowering my “It’s about your wolf, right?” Alpha Nevil asked me in a cautious tone, and I trembled lightly.

The next second, Noah gripped my hand on my lap, and I felt both Hunter and Frank’s hand on the edge of the backrest of the chair. We didn’t get a chance to talk about what happened the last night, but Grandma told me that all of us were unconscious for good few hours the last night, especially me, and Noah.
“What’s her name, Aurora?” Alpha Adrian asked me and I pursed my lips into a thin line. Her presence was now more evident to everyone. They told me this morning that they all felt the presence of my wolf. It was weak, but now it was evident.
“Selene.” I answered him in a low tone. “Does she communicate with you now?” Alpha Adrian asked me in a cautious tone. Both Hunter and Frank’s fingers were now touching the back of my shoulder on either side. Their presence with Noah was enough to keep me calm.
“Yeah… she has started communicating with me but she is still moody.” I replied to him truthfully and saw both of them smiling this time as if they predicted this answer from me. “Okay… we will talk about other issues later… But first… What you wanted to discuss with me yesterday?” Alpha Adrian asked me in a gentle tone.
“Mind link him… We can’t tell him in front of Nevil.” Selene suddenly whispered at the back of my mind, and I just blinked harder. “What about the boys?” I asked her anxiously. “They also need to go out.” She answered me and I breathed out.
I lowered my lashes once again. She asked me to mind-link Alpha Adrian but forgot that I couldn’t do this without her help. “Now try.” She instructed me once again. “This is about Noah, Alpha… 1 I don’t think that others should be here.” I tried to tell Alpha Adrian through mind-link.
I didn’t know how to mind-link but followed her orders. So, I wasn’t sure if I did it in the right way or not. I waited for his response but frowned in dismay when I didn’t get any. I slowly lined my lashes up and saw him looking at me in shock.

“You… you can tell in front of them… I assure you th… that they are friends.” He assured me, masking his shock the next second. I took a deep breath and locked my gaze with him. “I am sorry, Alpha… But this is something that I can only tell you.” I replied to him in a calm tone.
“Luna Helena asked you to save Noah before she died in your embrace, Aurora….. W asked me in a serious tone before Alpha Adrian could even open his mouth..
did she ask you that?” Alpha Nevil
I banged my palm of other hand on the table between us and stood up while breathing harshly because of the anger bubbling inside me. “You have no right to ask me this question, Alpha Nevil… You are not my alpha,” I yelled at him in a fit of rage.
His calm face immediately twisted in anger, and a loud growl erupt from his chest. I growled back, but Noah immately pulled me into his embrace, forcing my face towards him, and pushed it onto his chest.
I protested, but closed my eyes. “S”.” I cursed internally when I realized what I did. I challenged an alpha’s authority. This was wrong- This was so wrong.
“Relax. Nevil… You know her true identity very well…. She meant no disrespect to you.” I heard Alpha Adrian stern voice, but it was enough to make my body tremble once again. I didn’t know why those memories never appeared in my mind before, but those memories were horrible and I didn’t want to remember them at all.
“Give me five minutes with her.” I heard Alpha Adrian instructing everyone in a stern tone. He was pi**ed and I was doomed now. Noah kept on holding me tightly. His heart was now beating furiously and I felt his pain through our bond. He was in pain.. why?
I heard screeching of the chair legs followed by the footsteps going away. My tensed body relaxed when I heard opening and locking the door after that. “Relax, Aurora… We are now alone here.” Alpha Adrian comforted me this time.
Noah slowly released me from his embrace. “Are you okay now? he asked me in a concerned tone while cupping my face. I smiled while nodding in response. “Why are you so hostile towards him, Aurora?” Alpha Adrian asked me calmly this time.
I gulped hard and slowly moved towards him after Noah removed his hand from my face. “I don’t know, alpha… But his presence made me uncomfortable… A…. and this is not only me, but Selene too.” I answered him truthfully and he furrowed/ his brows immediately.
He blinked while looking at me and I also blinked without uttering a word. There was a short silence in the room for a few seconds before he took a deep breath. “What did you want to tell me about Noah?” he asked me calmly while leaning back on the backrest of his chair.
“L. I don’t know if you know about this or not. bu….. But I. I noticed a silver ring forming around Noah’s irises whenever he had a fluctuation in his emotions.” I told him truthfully and his expression once again changed.
“Wh… what did you say?” he asked me in bewilderment, and I trembled once again. He immediately stood up while widening his eyes in shock again. “She is right, Dad…. when she told me about this…. I didn’t believe her… but she clicked some photos of my eyes when it happened. It really happens to me.” Noah answered him calmly
“Thi.. this is not possible, Noah…. Th. this can’t be.” Alpha Adrian said to him in the same state, and now I was worried about Noah, and also felt that I did right thing by sending everyone out of the room. “Dad?” Noah called him in a confused tone
“Ca….. can you show me those pictures?” he asked me in the same tone, ignoring Noah I nodded in response and took my phone out of my pocket. I unblocked it, and went straight to the gallery of the phone.
“Here you can see.” I clicked on the photo that I took yesterday and moved my phone towards him. He almost snatched the phone from me, and Noah immediately pulled me behind him in defense. “Dad. You are scaring her.” Noah said to his father in a stern tone, filled with anger.

But Alpha Adrian’s eyes were now glued on the screen of my phone. “It… it’s okay, Noah.. he will never hurt me…. He… he is just shocked.” I comforted Noah and patted his back. Still Noah didn’t let me step out.
“How… How can this be?” Alpha Adrian uttered in astonishment and disbelief. I leaned on Noah’s back and closed my eyes, Suddenly I felt exhausted and wanted to lie down for a bit. “Do do you know.. wh.. what does it mean, Noah?” Alpha Adrian asked him in the same shocked state.
“I know, Alpha… I have read about this.” I replied to him in a tiring tone. “Where? Where did you read?” he asked me immediately. There was no change in his voice. He was now more frantic. “Uhhhh… There is a second at the right end of the library where you c… can get any book related to the history of the special wolves appearing in this world from time to time.” I answered him in the same tone, without opening my eyes.
I slowly opened my eyes and looked at retreating back of Alpha Adrian in confusion. “What happened?” I asked Noah in confusion. He pulled me out of his behind and made me sit on the chair. Stay here and rest…. I will be back soon.” He instructed me in a gentle tone.
I just hummed in response and closed my eyes again. “Dad… Wait.” I heard Noah yelling at his dad… But gradually their steps went away. I crossed my hands on the top of the table and put my hand on the upper hand.
“What is happening, Selene? Why am I so exhausted suddenly?” I asked my wolf, Selene, in a tired tone through our mind- link. “I used our strength to stop him getting angry.” She answered me in a tired tone and yawned aloud.
“We will be okay in a few minutes.” She comforted me this time and I just sighed internally. My ears perked up when I heard faint argument in the same corner where I mentioned to find those books. “Aurora is supposed to have this trait. Noah… No… not you.” I heard Alpha Adrian yelling at Noah in a painful and fearful voice that made me frown.
