Chapter 42
No One’s P.O.V.
Noah’s hold on Aurora’s body tightened immediately when he realized something that almost made him breathless. None of them knew that she was claustrophobic, not even Evan who was his brother.
“Yo…. you are c… laustroph….obic?” Clarke asked her while stuttering hard in shock and horror. She didn’t answer him but sobbed aloud. “Wha…. What did I do? Aurora…. I… I am sorry… I.. didn’t know… I am sorry…. I am really sorry.” Clarke cried while falling on his knees with a thud.
Among them, Clarke was the one who locked her up in any room countless times in the past whenever he found an opportunity to torment her. “I… I admit that I hated you bu…. but not to the extent where it could put your life in danger. I… I am really sorry.” Clarke continued apologizing sincerely.
Aurora scoffed lightly and moved her face in the other direction while leaning her head on Noah’s chest. “I am sorry.” Clarke wailed this time in guilt and shame. There was a tense silence among them as no one speak a word again. Only Clarke continued crying while Aurora was now crying silently.
Hunter moved towards Clarke in the end and pulled him up. It took him some efforts as Clarke was completely hopeless this time. “Why didn’t you tell anybody about this, Aurora?” Evan asked her in a low tone, filled with guilt.
“Who should I tell, huh?” Aurora asked him in a choked tone, but the accusation was evident in her tone. Evan stiffened and looked at her apologetically. He was older than Aurora and could have been her support all these years, but he chose to follow us instead of being with her.
“Okay, guys….. The problems among you all are not a thing that can be solved in one day. It…. It’s good that you guys now
everyone down know where you all went wrong in the past. Now …. We should move back to the topic.” Hunter tried to calm while holding Clarke lightly.
Aurora sniffed harder and took a deep breath. “Yeah…. Your match with the Black Shadow Pack is important now.” she muttered and looked at Noah. He also looked down at her with concern. “I am okay.” She told him in a soft tone.
Noah, Frank, Hunter and Evan shared their strength with Aurora and didn’t let her emotions drained her energy this time, Clarke, Morgan and Evan didn’t know why Aurora felt so weak these days. She even couldn’t do a few exercises during their training. Yet they trust Noah and Frank and never asked them about the reason.
Clarke and Morgan couldn’t pass their strength to Aurora directly. So, it was Evan only who shared his strength with Aurora with Noah and frank from time to time. “Alpha Adrian strictly prohibited you from going there with me this time, Aurora.” Hunter told her in disappointment.
“And why can’t I go there?” she asked him with a frown. “Because he is worried that Noel will do something to you again.” Noah answered her this time. “You mean to say that Alpha Xander will jeopardize his relationship with us to…… to cover his son’s any crime?” Aurora asked him in disbelief.
“Alpha Xander loves his son, that brat Noel, blindly. He almost caused the battle between us back then, and he will not hesitate to start a war with us if anything goes wrong there.” Noah answered Aurora calmly, but one could easily feel how pi**ed he was right now.
“This….. This is insane…. I … I mean how can he put his people’s lives in danger for saving his son’s a**?” she almost screamed in disbelief. “He can…. He has some influence in the council, and also he has some relative working in the royal place. So….. Yeah.. he is reckless and arrogant.” Noah replied to her once again in the same tone.
“So….. I can’t go there.” Aurora asked him while looking straight into his eyes. “You are still not ready to face even a slight danger, Aurora. We still don’t know who sent those rogues to attack you.” He tried to make her understand the severity of the
situation.
“Noah is right, Aurora. Your wolf is still not cooperating with you like she should. Also.” Evan paused and looked around at first. They were almost in the middle of the football ground but he was still not sure if anyone was hearing their

He signalled everyone to come closer. Curiosity piqued in everyone’s heart, and they all came closer. Aurora also forgot to cry and looked at Evan curiously. “I heard my father telling my mother that the council and the palace believed that the legendary silver wolf has born in this era and somehow they have a suspicion that she should be in our pack.” Evan told
them in hushed tone.
Hunter, Noah, and Frank immediately shared a look of surprise with each other while Aurora blinked harder to process. “B… but what does this have to do with Aurora? And how can they say that this legendary wolf is she, not he?” Morgan put an argument that made everyone raised their brows immediately.
“Uhhh…. You are really dumb.” Evan scolded him, and smacked the back of Morgan’s head in annoyance. Morgan hissed in pain and glared at Evan. “In the whole pack, only Aurora is the only one whose wolf didn’t surface at the age, and never let. anyone, not even Alpha Adrian to connect to her which made her mysterious and.” Evan explained in the same hushed tone.
Aurora gasped in shock this time and looked at Noah with a fearful gaze. His grip also tightened on her waist. Aurora wanted to contact Selene, but to her dismay, Selene had blocked Aurora and refused to talk to her.
Everyone now looked at Aurora with sympathy. “Your wolf is really stubborn.” Clarke muttered and Aurora immediately glared, making him cower a little. “So….. You mean to say that some people want to control this legendary wolf, and some people want her die. So, they sent those rogues here to kill Aurora?” Morgan asked Evan and he immediately bobbed his head furiously in agreement.
“B…. but how can they are so sure that th… this wolf is she-wolf? It can be he too.” Aurora tried to give an argument but stuttered hard in fear. “No… it can’t be he.” Evan replied to her confidently. Hunter, Frank and Noah were only listening to his blabbering but there was storm in their minds.
Even their wolves were now worried for Aurora and her wolf Selene. “Noah.” Aurora called him cautiously when she remembered something. He looked at her and her eyes widened lightly. “Uhhhh… I… I want to talk to you.” She said to him and before the rest of them could understand a thing, she grabbed Noah’s hand, and pulled him away, almost running away from them.
“Hey, Aurora…. What happened?” Clarke yelled from behind and Hunter narrowed his eyes while looking at their retreating figures. He had this hunch that Aurora was hiding something that was related to Noah. She panicked when they talked about this legendary wolf, but why she was so adamant that it could be he-wolf instead of she-wolf.
“Do you think the same thing?” Frank asked him while looking at Aurora and Noah’s back. Evan was also suspicious about Aurora’s sudden weird behaviour. “She still has a point though.” Hunter said to them, still having his eyes on Aurora and Noah who were now exiting the football ground.
“What?” Evan asked him in confusion. Hunter looked back at them with a calm expression on his face now. “You all have gotten your wolves but none of you, and so many others he and she-wolves in the pack have reached their age to shift. So, it is too early to say anything about the presence of this legendary wolf in this pack. How can they be so sure about this then?” Hunter explained and everyone nodded in agreement.
Clarke and Morgan rubbed their chins while thinking about what Hunter said, and so did Evan. Alpha Adrian told them that Aurora’s wolf was a Luna Warrior, but it didn’t mean that she was the legendary silver wolf.
“I guess we need to do some research on this topic on our own.” Morgan muttered and Evan huffed while looking at him. “Yeah… of course…. Our exams will start after five days, and after that, we will be busy with our tournaments. When will we get the time to do this research, huh?” he asked Morgan annoyingly.
“Yeah you are right… O goddess… I forgot that the first paper is math.” Hunter grumbled too while lifting his face towards the sky. Clarke also frowned and glared at Morgan. They were good in studies but all of them didn’t like math.
On the other hand, Aurora stopped almost at the back gate of the school and looked around. “What is it? Why are you being so mysterious?” Noah asked her in a concerned tone. “Did you tell Alpha Adrian about the ring?” she asked him in a hushed tone while looking around cautiously.

Noah signed and pulled her closer to her. “I really don’t know what you are talking about, love.” He said to her truthfully and she frowned this time. “Ring….. whenever there is a fluctuation in your emotions, a silver ring formed around your irises, Noah. Don’t you know this?” she explained and asked him worriedly.
Noah’s heart skipped a few beats in a row while he looked at her in bewilderment. “You have no idea about that?” she asked him cautiously when she realized that Noah was unaware about this. He just shook his head in response.
“We…. We need to tell this to Alpha Adrian. This is not a small thing to ignore.” Aurora said to him in panic this time. Everyone knew that Beast was the most powerful wolf among all the pups of their age present in their pack, but this was something that made him unique. “Let…. Let’s go.” Noah also agreed with Aurora because none of his friends had told him anything like this.
“B… but we need a proof to …. to prove wh.. what I said.” Aurora stopped him when she realized that she had no proof. Noah chewed his inner cheeks, agreeing with Aurora. “Th… think about something th.. that can anger you?” Aurora asked him anxiously.
He raised his brows while staring at her blankly. she just blinked innocently while looking at him. “Or something romantic?” Beast chimed in suddenly, startling Noah, but it gave him an idea.
He cupped her face while wrapping his other hand around her waist. His heart started beating furiously when his eyes lingered between her eyes and her lips. He wanted to kiss her one more time, but knew that it wasn’t a good idea.
“That’s it.” Aurora exclaimed and immediately pulled her phone out of her jacket pocket. She immediately opened the camera and clicked the photo of his eyes which had rings now.
She was now relieved that she had a proof now. “Let’s go.” she said to him, but he held her face firmly, making her looked at him in confusion. “Ca… can I kiss you?” he asked her and her eyes widened in shock this time.
