Noah’s POV.
“Has she slept?” Frank asked me after I closed the door of her room. “Yeah.. she will be okay by morning.” I replied to him while going towards my room.
“Selene should start cooperating with her now or else Aurora’s life will be in danger.” He said to me in a serious tone while walking with me towards our room. It was annoying that our room were in the farthest corner of the corridor, almost fifteen rooms farther than Aurora,
“Selene is a hard nut to crack, Frank. I don’t know how, but she was more powerful than any of us. Do you think that Beast. wouldn’t try to reach her out?” I replied to him calmly but asked him while raising my brows.
“Tell me something that I don’t know. He replied to me with a scoff. I didn’t react on this because both of us had exactly the same knowledge about Selene and her powers. I didn’t know why but I hated this situation among me, Aurora and Frank.
1 knew that Frank didn’t have any romantic feelings towards Aurora yet his connection with her made me jealous of him. I didn’t want to share Aurora with her, but this situation was something that I couldn’t change.
“Did you feel her too when Morgan mentioned Noel?” I asked him when we were about to reach his room, He signalled me, to enter his room with him. It meant that someone was around us, listening to our conversation.
I didn’t ask anything, and we both entered the room. “What is it?” I asked him after he closed the door of his room, “Yeah.. 1 sensed her presence for a few fleeting seconds. Did she feel any connection with him too?” He answered me in a calm tone, but his question took me off guard.
“I don’t think so.” I answered him while thinking about the changes in Aurora’s behaviour at that time. I remembered that her body trembled lightly as if she was afraid of something, “Everyone knows how evil Noel is. He is of our age, but his cruelity has reached its peak.” Frank continued in a worried tone
“Tell me something that I don’t know.” I repeated his statement, and he huffed in annoyance. “Selene possesses healing power, Noah, and the last healer died almost 300 years ago. She… She can’t be from that lineage, can she?” He threw the next question at me. He was anxious and so did I
I didn’t answer him once again but sat down at the edge of the bed in his room. He also sat down a little further from me on the bed. Selene was a powerful wolf. It was clear that my father knew about her real identity but didn’t know much about her powers or else he wouldn’t be shocked to know what she did with the patients in the hospital.
I don’t think that healing was her only power. She must have other powers too, and it was also clear that Selene wasn’t scared. of Noel, but she was angry at that time. “I heard from my uncle that the council and some powerful alphas are searching for a powerful wolf. Do you think Aurora can be that wolf?” he asked me in a very low and cautious tone.
I took a deep breath while thinking about this possibility. My mind was completely blank by now. In less than a month, there were so many changes in Aurora that I couldn’t deny this possibility. Her wolf was stronger than Beast and my father. She could heal people, and moreover, she had a strong connection with Beast and Aero which was not a usual trade of wolves.
“Noah.” I looked at Frank when he called my name in a low tone. I raised my brows questioningly. “Your birthday is only one month apart.” He said to me in a cautious tone. “Yeah… What about it?” I asked him in a calm tone.
He took a deep breath and looked straight into my eyes this time. “I noticed the changes in your behaviour towards her.” He
answered me and I frowned in confusion.
“Yeah… I agree that… That I have changed, but I don’t think there is something in this to be noticed like this.” I replied to him in a confused tone.

He took a deep breath again, still looking straight into my eyes. You are more possessive towards her.” He explained and my breath hitched. “Somehow, she managed to calm you down whenever you got angry due to any reason.” He explained further, and I just pursed my lips into a thin line.
“Before that rogue’s attack, you hated touching her, but now… you almost kept her hand holding if you two are closed to each other.” He explained further in the same serious tone. “Will it be possible that she is your mate, and that’s why you have started feeling attraction towards her?” he questioned and I rolled my eyes this time.
“You know how mate bond works, Frank. We can’t feel anything until we reach our age.” I scolded him this time. ‘But you two are powerful wolves, Noah.” He immediately retorted. “So what? It doesn’t mean that we are an exception, right? This is the rule that the Moon Goddess has set for all of us, and I and Aurora are no exception.” I argued back calmly.
He wanted to say something more, but shut his mouth. I sighed and slowly stood up from the bed. “Aurora has promised Hunter that she will attend all his matches. Let’s find a way to keep her away during his match with Noel.” I instructed him while walking towards the door.
“What if she is really your mate?” he suddenly asked me again, ignoring my instruction. I stiffened and stopped in my tracks. “Will you accept her?” he asked me in a cautious tone this time. Beast growled at the back of mind.
“No matter who my mate will be, Frank. Rejection is not an option for me. I will never reject my mate at any cost.” I answered him calmly and stormed towards the door. I almost jogged to my room and locked the door immediately after entering the room.
