Chapter 37
Aurora’s POV
1 pouted in disappointment while glaring at the question written in front of me. I was trying so hard to solve it but I didn’t know why I couldn’t get the right answer. “What’s wrong?” I stiffened when Evan asked me in a soft tone.
“Uhhhh… Nothing,” I replied to him without looking at him, and flipped the page of the helping book. “Hey,” I yelled in protest when suddenly someone snatched the book from me. I paused immediately when I saw who snatched book.

We all were in my room to study. I didn’t know why Alpha Adrian ordered us to study together for exams. I was still not healthy enough to go to Noah’s study where we all had been studying together for the past seven days. So, they were here.
In my room
“Show me your solution.” Noah asked me after reading the question. I pushed my notebook towards him without any protest. Noah was a genius in math. That was why I didn’t protest. “I am also having difficulty in solving this problem.” Hunter said to him in a serious tone.
I saw Noah glancing at him casually. “Show me your solution.” He asked Hunter in reply and lowered his eyelashes once again. He had long eyelashes and whenever he lowered them, they formed a shadow over his eyes, making his eyes more beautiful.
Hunter also gave him his notebook, and looked at me. He wanted to say something to me but I guess, he didn’t want to say anything in front of them.
Yeah Hunter was also with us according to the Alpha Adrian’s instructions. In 2-3 days in the beginning, they were pi**ed from his presence around them, but now, things had started going easy among them. I was glad that Hunter was now not alone…… at least not during revising his lessons.
“I heard that you have a match with a team from Black Shadow Pack?” I looked at Morgan when he asked Hunter in a curious tone. I saw Hunter taking a deep breath while looking at Morgan calmly. “Yeah….. If I win, I will enter the quarterfinals of this tournament. Hunter answered him truthfully.
“Who will be your opponent?” Morgan asked him in the same curious tone. Hunter clicked his tongue and glanced at me. I immediately lowered my lashes and looked at my copy in Noah’s hand. “Their alpha’s son.” I heard Hunter’s answer.
I didn’t know why, but my heart skipped a beat when I heard his answer. “You mean, Noel?” Morgan asked him immediately in a surprised tone this time. I trembled lightly as a chill ran through my spine immediately.
I looked at Noah when he held my hand on my lap. It was when I realized that I had clenched my fists so tightly that I dug my nails into my palm, withdrawing some blood there. “Here… you did these two steps wrong.” Noah said to me while pointing at a place in the notebook.
“And what about my solution?” Hunter immediately asked him. Noah could write from both hands. Sometimes it really felt amazing to see him using both his hands. Now, he was holding my hand by his right hand, and was writing with his left hand on the top of the study table.
“You did wrong here.” Noah replied to him in a serious tone, and gave Hunter’s notebook back to him. I slowly opened my fists and he intertwined our fingers. We were sitting on the carpeted floor, and I was sitting on the right of Noah. We had formed a circle, but there was a comfortable gap between me, and Clarke as he was on my right.
“Is something wrong with this guy…. Noel?” Clarke asked Morgan in a curious tone this time. “Yeah…. you don’t know?” Morgan answered him, but raised his brows in surprise when he asked him the question.
I still didn’t look up as I was having a bad feeling about this match. “Calm down, Aurora… You are using your aura.” I heard

him through the mind-link. Į immediately closed my eyes, trying to concentrate to listen to my heartbeat so that I could
count them.
This was the calming exercise that Dr. Thornbill, Nevil, Hunter’s father taught us. We only had three sessions in the past seven days as I always fainted in the middle of the training, I didn’t know why Selene still wasn’t willing to share her strength with me.
“If you are not feeling well…. You can rest.” Frank advised me in a worried tone. I slowly opened my eyes when I calmed down a bit. “I am okay…. I only have three more questions to finish.” I answered him in a low tone, taking my pen again.
“Here….. Drink this… You will feel better.” Frank gave me a water bottle. I pouted again while looking at him with puppy eyes. “Don’t give me this look, Aurora. You have to drink some.” Frank said to me in a stern tone.
I felt wronged by him. I felt like a criminal who refused to serve her sentence. I felt a squeeze on my fingers and looked at Noah who was now looking at us with a calm expression on his face. I didn’t know how he managed to stay this calm now when he was famous for his short-tempered.
“You didn’t answer my question, Morgan. Is this Noel guy…. is he really scary?” I heard Clarke asking the same question once again. I was now curious too. I took the bottle from Frank, and tilted my head backward to drink some.
“He has a very bad reputation, Clarke. Rumours are that he uses dirty tricks during his matches to win them if his opponent is stronger than him.” Morgan answered him in a calm tone.
“He is an alpha….. does he need to fear anyone stronger than him?” Evan asked him in a confusing tone this time. “Concentrate on your studies instead of chitchatting.” Noah suddenly scolded everyone in a stern tone, cutting off Morgan when he was about to answer Evan.
1 tightened my grip on our intertwined fingers on my lap. I glanced at him, and saw his clenched jaw. I didn’t know who this. Noel guy was, but it was clear that Noah didn’t want them to discuss that guy here.
They all stopped chatting and looked down at their books and notebooks again. I sighed and looked back at my notebook too. I frowned when I saw what Noah wrote in my notebook. The mistakes are really a minor mistake. This explained why I couldn’t find it earlier.
“thanks, Noah.” I thanked him sincerely and started writing the right solution. “You’re welcome.” I heard him whispering an answer to me. A smile crept on my lips with a blush. I immediately lowered my head a little more to hide that blush from them.
“Are you okay, Aurora?” Evan asked me again, and I just jerked my head lightly, still my head hanging low, and eyes on the notebook. “Yeah…. I am fine.” I answered him in embarrassment, and continue solving the question in a right manner.
