Chapter 34
Aurora’s POV
“You called us, Dad?” Noah asked Alpha Adrian while entering the office. I also looked at him curiously. This was the first time that he called both of us together. “Have a seat.” He instructed us in a calm tone while doing something on his laptop.
We both walked to the chairs and sat down after putting our bags on the floor near the chair. I was a little nervous because of being here. “I got a call from the school that you two were in a dispute today?” he asked us and my heart skipped a beat.
This was the first time that the school did something like this and it took me off guard. “What? No, Dad… who lied to you?” Noah reacted immediately in an angry tone. I also boblied my head furiously, agreeing with what he said.
Alpha Adrian looked at us calmly, but his gaze made me gulp hand. Of course we weren’t arguing at that time. Noah only yelled at me. There was no argument between us. “Your teacher complained that you were threatening her during the class and also you have some dispute with Hunter” Alpha Adrian replied to him in the same calm tone.
“It. It’s not like th. that, Alpha… W… we ju… st bantering with each other.” I told him while stuttering a little. Alpha Adrian looked at me while tilting his head lightly. “Aurora… You know that you stutter a little when you lie, right?” he gave me a knowing look, and I blinked harder.
“That’s not true, Dad… She stuttered whenever she is afraid, angry, nervous or overwhelmed.” Noah replied to him in a firm tone while putting his hand on mine on the armrest of my chair tense body immediately relaxed but his observation of me took me off guard.
To be honest, I never realized when I stutter and when I don’t. “Is that so?” Alpha Adrian asked him while raising his brows, but his gaze had a different meaning this time. “Of course, Dad… She is afraid of you right now. You are not asking…. You are interrogating us.” Noah stated the obvious while holding my hand firmly.
Alpha Adrian looked at me with tilted head and I slowly lowered my eyelashes in embarrassment. What Noah said about me was true. I was not only nervous but afraid too.
But….
The reason was not Alpha Adrian..
It was Noah.
I was afraid that he would think that I ratted us out to Alpha Adrian “Okay… I believe you that she is afraid of me.” Alpha Adrian said to us in a calm tone and I breathed out in relief. I didn’t realize till yet that I stopped breathing at one point.
“Let’s assume whatever happened today was nothing but a misunderstanding I don’t want anything like this happened again in the future.” He said further to us and I slumped my shoulders down. “Can we go now? Noah asked and I also looked at Alpha Adrian expectantly.
“No… this is not the main reason that I asked you two to come here today.” He replied to Noah in the same tone that he had been using on us since we entered the room. “Then what it is.” I rolled my eyes internally on Noah’s finpatience.
Alpha Adrian patiently looked at him and put his hands flat on the top of the table, “There will be a special training session for you two only from tomorrow morning onwards.” He announced and my eyes almost popped out of the socket in horror.
“Special training session? Why do we need that, Dad?” Noah asked him in a confused tone, but I knew the reason well.
Well….. I knew about me, but I was confused about Noah. Was Beast also a special wolf? “Because you two need to learn your emotions and your powers when the time comes.” Alpha Adrian answered him calmly, but I knitted my brows in confusion.

“But her wolf… She rarely shows why does she need to train?” Noah asked in confusion but his remark on Selene made me purse my lips into a thin line. It pricked a little.
“Her wolf can’t show herself all the time not because she was weak or she has any problem with Aurora…. She doesn’t show because I have put a command on her, and her persona is so powerful that anyone can sense her strength and it can put Aurora’s life in danger.” Alpha Adrian explained the reason to Noah in the same way.
I wasn’t surprised because as the future alpha of the pack, Noah needed to know all the secret matters of the pack, including any special ability of any of the pack members. “You….. You put a command on her? W… why did you do that to her? Y. you know what she endured because of that?” Noah burst in a fit of anger and I immediately intertwined our fingers tightly.
“Noah.” I called him hurriedly and he moved his face towards me. He was now infuriated, but I knew the reason well. He was the one who taunted me the most for not having a good relationship with my wolf. He sensed her so many times, and I knew that he sensed her powers too.
That was why he always said that my wolf didn’t have a good relationship with me because of my weak personality. “Why did you never retaliate, huh? You are really dumb.” He scolded me too, and I huffed. I blinked when I noticed the silver ring around his irises getting stronger.
“I am under alpha’s command. Do you think any wolf can overcome his or her alpha’s command on her?” I asked him calmly while making circles on the back of his hand with my other hand’s finger. His jaw was clenched to the extent where his canines could pierce his gums to bleed furiously.

This was the first time that I lied so easily because it really hurt so much whenever they taunted me for having a bad relationship with my wolf, especially Noah’s words. No one knew how many times I cried in silence in agony.
I tried to smile again but my lips trembled instead. “I am sorry. He apologized with all his sincerity. I felt a warm sensation spreading in my chest. “I guess you two have hidden so many things from me.” We both were startled. We actually forgot that we were sitting in front of Alpha Adrian.
We both shared a knowing look and slowly lowered our heads. There was a suffocating silence in the room as we could feel the pierce gaze of Alpha Adrian on us. “Noah.” He called Noah in a tone filled with disappointment after some time.
“I am sorry, Dad” Noah apologized genuinely. I heard Alpha Adrian taking a deep breath. I didn’t want him to reprimand Noah but there was nothing that I could right now. We were still holding each other’s hands tightly.
“I hope that you will not do such things in the future, Noah. No matter what’s the reason of someone’s flaws or weaknesses, you can’t just use that as an excuse to belittle him or her.” Alpha Adrian still scolded him in a calm tone though.
“I understand it now, Dad, and I promised that I will be careful in the future. I… I know that I have to learn so many things before I can assure you that I am ready to take over.” Noah replied to him in a firm tone.
I smiled faintly while looking at him this time. Now he was behaving like a mature person who knows accepting his mistakes and learning the lesson from them. He glanced at me and passed a tight and apologetic smile to me-
“Okay… let’s hope for the best… Now back to the main topic.” Alpha Adrian said to us with a loud sigh and we both looked at him once again. Alpha Adrian took a deep breath and looked at me this time with a serious gaze.
“Your wolf… She is not only special, but there is something else about you two that you need to know, Aurora.” He said to me in a serious tone. I nodded in response but now my heart was pounding hard in my chest.

just said. Noah’s grip or my hand tightened immediately. Alpha Adrian’s gaze was firm on me as he gave me some seconds to grasp the meaning of his words.
“The fact is that the council is searching for the Luna warrior born in this time line for a long time period, and soon after your birthday… Your wolf is bound to show her true identity putting yourself in grave danger. Of course, there is a way out to keep you safe but it will only be possible after you find your mate.” He continued and took a deep breath in the end.
“We can’t just sit thinking about this way because there is a fifty percent chance that you will find your mate right after completely 18 years. So, you need to learn some tactics and way through which you two can easily hide your real identity and this is what you two need to learn now.” he continued explaining the whole situation.
I knew about my lineage and also that I am an alpha by blood. So, being a Luna wasn’t a surprise for me but being a Luna warrior was a shock. In our whole history there were only five Luna warriors to this day. The belief is that a Luna warrior appears when there are some grave threats to the existence of our species. It meant that in the future it may be a possibility that I will find myself in the middle of a great war.
“And who will train us?” Noah asked him when I was about ask him something but stopped and looked at curiously because I also wanted to know the answer of this question. Both I and Noah stiffened when I felt a strong presence outside the door. We heard a knock and the door opened.
I gasped in shock when I saw who entered the room. “He is the one who is responsible to train both of you.” I heard Alpha Adrian answering Noah’s question, but my breath hitched when I sensed how powerful his aura was. “Alpha Nevil?” Noah
