Charlotte explained, “I’ve looked at some examples online. Apart from clearing things up, one way to deal with negative rumors is to expose even bigger scandals.
“Also… does Eric have a secret girlfriend?” Charlotte asked.
Cecilia seemed to know where this was leading but shook her head. “I’m not sure, probably not.”
She hadn’t spent much time with Eric and was unsure whether Eric was in a relationship at the moment.
“It would be great if he could openly have a girlfriend.”
This afternoon, I made plans to have lunch with him, Cecilia said. “Why don’t you come along? We can ask him about it.”
Upon hearing that she was to meet Eric, a sparkle lit up in Charlotte’s eyes. “Great! It’s been a while since I last saw such a handsome guy. I could use a feast for my eyes.
“Cahn down now, calm down,” Cecilia said with a laugh.
“I will.” Charlotte nodded repeatedly.
Outside the door, Miranda happened to pass by. Through the glass window, she saw the two chatting and laughing, which she found somewhat peculiar.
Shouldn’t Cecilia be busy dealing with the controversy onlinet How can she remain so composed? She’s even laughing and chatting with her subordinate. Has she already found a solution?
Miranda found a secluded spot and dialed Cassandra’s number. “Cassandra, watch out. Cecilia doesn’t seem to be anxious at all. She’s even bantering with her subordinate. I suspect she has figured out a solution.”
After hearing this, Cassandra looked at the swarm of comments criticizing Cecilia on the internet, feeling that it was still not enough.
“It seems she’s not easily intimidated. I’ll just have to up the ante.”

Miranda was happy to sit back and watch the unfolding drama.
