Ava got proud when she heard that, “I actually have an invitation to Elysia’s birthday party. What about you?” 

Eric said. “What birthday party? What are you talking about? I didn’t know anything about that” 

“See? Do you still think you’re closer to Elysia than me? That’s hilarious,” said Ava. 

Elysia watched the two squabbling over her attention and couldn’t help but chuckle at their childish behavior 

Eric, looking a bit annoyed, retorted, “Well, if you hadn’t always kept Elysia by your side, I would’ve known about it earlier.” Then he turned to Elysia, asking, “When’s your birthday? Send me an invitation” 

Ava said, “Just leave us alone. You won’t get it 

Eric said. “Im not talking to you, Ava ” 

“It seems that you need a good lesson,” Ava said, rolling up her sleeves. 

Seeing the brewing tension. Elysia quickly intervened, grabbing Ava’s arm. “Il bring the invitations tomorrow, alright?” 

“Did you hear that? Elysia is way kinder than you” Eric nudged Ava and added. “I suddenly feel like you need a nickname” 

Awa’s face was stern, and there was a hint of anger in her eyes as she looked at Eric. She thought. He better watch his mouth or I’ll hit him. 

Eric didn’t seem to notice anything was off. He thought for a moment and said, “With your temper, you should be called the Beast. No, Demon would probably fit you better.” 

After saying that, he nodded, looking quite pleased with himself. “What do you think of this name. Elysia?” 

Elysia’s smile froze. “I think… you might pay a price for your sharp tongue.” As soon as she finished speaking Ava raised her fist and punched Eric. “Are you serious? Eric rubbed his back, thinking. Come on, she really did hit hard, just like a demon 

“What do you expect?” said Av 

Eric raised his hand as if to hit back at Ava, but he pulled it back just before touching her. “Never mind. A wise man doesn’t fight with a girl.” 

“It’s me, a wise girl, who kindly let you go!” said Ava. 

When Robert heard that the incident at the auditorium had something to do with Emma, he rushed over to Class 2 in a panic. As soon as he saw her, he noticed her red eyes, a sign she’d been crying not long ago.. 

Emma, upon seeing Robert, couldn’t hold it in any longer, and her tears started flowing again. 

Robert’s heart ached as he saw her, and he quickly moved closer. “It’s okay” 

Emma cried even harder at his words, “Robert, do you think everyone is going to hate me?” 

Robert said, “Of course not. You’ve always been so understanding. No one could ever dislike you” 

“Really?” said Emma 

“Of course. Have 1 ever lied to you?” Robert said, gently stroking Emma’s hair, “What happened?” 

At his question, Emma’s eyes briefly lit up with a glimmer of hope. She wiped away her tears and said slowly, “It was Elysia.” 

“Elysia?” Robert raised an eyebrow. 

“Yeah, last night it was already late when I saw Elysia get out of a fancy car. I couldn’t see the person in the car clearly, but I knew he wasn’t a good 

perion 

“I was upset and worried about Flysia, so Fold Mia and the others about it. They just wanted to help, but Elysia didn’t appreciate it and even kicked Mia in the process” 

Robert frowned as he listened to Emma’s words. He had heard bits and pieces of what happened, but not the full story. 

He had been paying close attention when they mentioned Emma, and his concern for her made him rush over without hearing the entire situation.

Chapter 51 

He just needed to make sure she was okay. 

He thought, Emma is always so kind and gentle. How upset must she be to go through something like this? 

Now, hearing everything from Emma’s side, his expression darkened. He thought, Did Elysia get out of a fancy car Was this the reason she rejected the engagement? She always appears so pure on the outside, but it turns out that she’s a gold digger 

Emma didn’t know exactly what Hobert was thinking, but she knew well about him. Even if he hadn’t heard the full story, he could easily fill in the blanks himself. Soon, he’ll have a good ideant what Elysia was really like 

Emma said. “How could Elysia do something like that, Robert! Mia was just trying to help, and she actually hit her! She’s not in the countryside anymore and she can’t just act however she wants.” 

Robert’s frown deepened at her words. He wondered. Of course, someone who has lived in the countryside for eighteen years would definitely behave like this. It’s clear she doesn’t have the poise expected of someone from a prestigious family. 

Robert felt an overwhelming sense of relief that his engagement with Elysia had fallen through. If he had to spend his life with someone like her. he would be miserable 

He said softly, “Not everyone in this world is as kind as you, Emma. Don’t worry, as long as I’m here, no one will bully you.” 

Emma said. “Thank you, Robert 

Robert gently stroked her head and said gently. “Be a good girl and head back to class, alright?” 

Emma nodded reluctantly and finally headed into the classroom. 

Robert came to Class 6 during the second break of the afternoon. Oddly, the classroom that was usually the most chaotic was eerily quiet, with everyone focused on their work, heads down. 

He thought, ‘Did I walk into the wrong classroom? He glanced again at the sign hanging by the door–Class 6. 

Once he confirmed he was in the right place, he looked back at the students hunched over their desks, wondering, “Are they still the same group of people? It’s unbelievable! Class 6 has a notorious reputation for being lazy, but now, they seem completely different. 

However, it didn’t matter much to him. His purpose was clear–he was there to give Elysia a lesson and teach her some manners 

Standing at the door, he lightly knocked on the first desk against the wall. I’m looking for Elysia” 

The girl looked up in shock, her face lighting up with excitement. She couldn’t believe that the top student and school hunk, Robert, had just come to Class 6 and that he had even spoken to her–she could hardly contain her excitement. 

Robert watched the girl fawn over him, feeling a little speechless before he spoke again, “Could you please go get Elysia for me? Thanks” 

The girl snapped out of her daze and quickly nodded. “Of course. I’ll go get her right now” 

Once she left, Robert stepped out into the hallway, standing casually by the railing. 

Elysia was explaining a problem–solving method to someone when she saw the girl approaching. She assumed she had a question for her and was about to ask her to wait when the girl quickly blurted out, “Elysia, someone is looking for you. 

Without another word, the girl turned and left. 

Elysia frowned, feeling confused. She set the textbook aside and walked to the door. When she stepped outside, she spotted Robert leaning casually against the railing. 

Curiosity flickered in her eyes. She thought. What could Robert want with me? Is he upset about the broken engagement and looking for trouble! Or… is be here to defend Emmat
