Ava eagerly nodded at the question, her eyes wide with anticipation. “Elena, do you have a solution?”
“Sit here.” Elena pointed to the second row of seats. “These are reserved for our student union members. You’re free to sit wherever you like.”
“Really?” Ava’s e

up as she grabbed Elena’s hand in excitement. “You’re amazing!”
Elena stared at her hand being held, her brow furrowing slightly.
Ava immediately realized something was off–Elena was known for being reserved and distant. Flustered, she quickly let go of Elena’s hand. “Sorry, 1 got too carried away”
Elena gave a small shake of her head. “It’s fine.”
Ava sighed in relief after hearing Elena’s response and dashed toward the second–row seats, picking the best spot with a perfect view.
Elysia watched Ava’s retreating figure and explained, “That’s just how she is. Don’t mind her. And thanks for today.”
Elena said, “You’re welcome. I heard you transferred to Class 6, but I didn’t get a chance to ask what happened”
“Nothing much. Just felt like switching things up,” Elysia replied casually.
Elena said. “OK. If anyone bothers you, you can always come to me?”
“Okay,” Elysia said.
Elena said, “I’ve got things to take care of, so I’ll go now,”
Elysia nodded slightly and glanced down at herself. She thought, ‘Do I really look that weak? Just as she lifted her gaze, she saw Ava waving at her. “Elysia, come over here!”
Ava had picked the center seat in the second row–the perfect spot with the best view.
Elysia walked over and sat next to her. Ava immediately held her arm. “I’m so glad you’re here! I know Elena gave us the seats because of you. Elysia, I’m seriously falling more and more for you.”
Ava said this with a teasing smile and tried to plant a kiss on Elysia’s cheek, but she was quickly pushed away in distaste. “If you want to thank me, stay away from me.”
“Elysia. Ava pouter.
ake Ava’s act of clinging any longer. She pushed herself between them, creating some space. “Don’t be silly.”
Elysia couldn’t take.
ing her arms and putting on a serious expression. “Alright, I won’t tease you anymore. But, Elysia, are you really not
Ava finally sat up straight, crossing close with Elena!”
Elysia found herself pondering the question too. “Am I close with Elena? If not, then why had Elena gone out of her way to help me repeatedly?”
“What’s on your mind, Elysia?” Ava asked.
- d. “Nothing”
Elysia snapped out of her thoughts, looked at Ava, and shook her head.
Ava didn’t press
further. Instead, she cupped Elysia’s face in her hands and planted a quick kiss on her cheek. Elysia stared at her in shock, raising her hand to touch the now–warm spot where Ava had kissed her.
Ava lowered her head, looking like a child caught in mischief. “You’re just too beautiful Elysia, and I couldn’t help myself… I didn’t know how else to thank you, so I kissed you.”
st time a girl had kissed me, and it was from someone as cute and sweet as Ava What could I even say
Elysia was stunned, thinking. This was the first i
Was I supposed to fight back?
Elysia quickly shook her head. She still couldn’t accept intimate behavior between friends like this.
“Elysia…” Ava noticed that Elysia hadn’t said anything for a while, so she hooked her arm around her and started to pout. “Don’t be mad, okay? I just love you so much”
Elysia gently pushed her away. “I’m not mad. Just speak to me normally.”

“Are you not used to acting cute, Elysia?” Ava leaned in closer, her eyes sparkling as she noticed Elysia’s awkward expression.
“Why should I?” asked Elysia.
Ava said, “Of course, you should! Haven’t you heard that the most loved women are the ones who know how to act cute! I’ve heard people say that oper a woman learns this, she’ll always be pampered by her partner.”
By the end of her speech, Ava’s voice had dropped and her face was flushed. She looked like a girl in love.
Elysia frowned. She really had no idea where these strange thoughts of Ava’s came from
She hadn’t expected that the usually lively and carefree Ava would have such a girlish side. It was probably this side of ber that matched her cute and adorable appearance the best.
Hey
ry, this is the student union’s seating area. You two aren’t our members, are you?” A boy wearing a staff badge asked, looking at them.
it here
Elysia and Ava turned to look at him. Ava spoke up first. “We’re not part of the student union, but we got permission from Elena
The boy internally scoffed. He thought, ‘Come on, if you were going to lie, at least you should come up with a better excuse. Elena was known for being strict and impartial–there was no way she’d offer any special treatment.
He said, “This seating area is reserved for student union members. Please leave
The head of the disciplinary department, Ben Jones, was on the podium checking the equipment. Hearing the noise below, he turned around, and immediately spotted Elysia, recognizing that she was the girl who had been riding the motorcycle last time.
Seeing this, Ren didn’t waste any time thinking. He quickly jumped down the podium, asking the boy, “What’s going on!”
The boy saw Ben and immediately felt like he had found a lifeline. He quickly explained. “Ben, these two aren’t members of the student union They’re insisting on sitting in the student union’s seats, even claiming Elena told them they could.”
“We’re not lying. Elena really did let us sit here! Ava interjected,
Ben looked at Ava and then at Elysia. He remembered that last time, Elena had done the same thing for Elysia, giving her special treatment. He had no idea what it was about her that made Elena go out of her way for her.
He didn’t think they were lying. He turned to the boy and said, “This is none of your business. You can leave now.”
“But they…” the boy hesitated,
“They’re staying here. Is there a problem?” Ben’s tone was firm,
The boy saw that Ben wasn’t happy and quickly said, “No problem. I’ll go check the backstage. Then he turned and left.
“Thank you,” Ava said with a sweet smile as she looked at Hen.
“No need to thank me. It’s the least I can do,” Ben replied. He then turned to Elysia, adding. “If anyone gives you trouble later, just come to find me.”
He pulled out a piece of paper, wrote down a string of numbers, and handed it to Elysia. “This is my number. Feel free to reach out if you need anything.”
Elysia stared at the number, frowning and thinking, “Why was this guy helping me so much, and so attentively?”
“Well, I’ll be going now,” Ben said.
“Alright” Ava replied, but as she turned to leave, she noticed Elysia still staring at the paper, lost in thought. “What’s wrong, Elysia?”
“Nothing, Elysia responded quickly.
As the ceremony officially began, Holden stepped up to the stage with a microphone. He wore a pair of transparent–framed glasses, earrings in his ears, and a silver jacket with white jeans

As the performance came to an end, Holden’s gaze shifted toward the second row, landing on Elysia, who seemed to stand out from the rest in the crowd. He smiled
“Elysia, did my crush just look at us?” Ava was gripping her arm, her voice full of excitement.
Elysia had noticed it too–Holden’s final look seettted to be directed toward her. She thought, Was it just an
illusion?‘
The whole venue was still cheering for Holden when suddenly, he raised a hand to his lips, signalling for silence. It was as if he had a special The moment the audience saw his gesture, they all fell silent.
With all eyes on him, he slowly brought the microphone to his mouth. “Seeing your smiles, it’s as if I’m looking at myself from yesterday. Im truly grateful to Milton School for giving me this chance to leave behind the most beautiful melody here,”
As Holden spoke, his gaze turned toward Elysia, and he continued. “Tim glad you’re here. I believe we will meet again someday”
