“Allow me to reintroduce myself again. I am Leah’s mom and also the chairwoman of the Sunwing Group.”
I pointed to Antonio not far away. “And he married into our family.”
I took the marriage certificate from Luke’s hand, showed it to everyone, and then threw it on the ground, hard.
Right then, I could see the look of panic in Antonio’s eyes.
But that was just the start!

A sharp woman who was live–streaming zoomed in on the marriage certificate on the ground.

“Shameless people go well together!”
Those e sycophants who had been fawning over Antonio quickly switched sides, joining in the criticism of Sophia and him.
Antonio was mad and embarrassed. “Grace, do you have to make me look bad? How is Leah supposed to face people after this?”
Sophia seemed to figure things out and started crying, playing the victim.
“I’m to blame. I asked Antonio to help because Jacob never had a dad. I just wanted Antonio to pretend to be his dad for one day, but…
“It’s all our fault. We’re the ones left behind!”
After saying that, she dropped to her knees in front of me and began to slap herself hard.
Antonio and Jacob hurried to stop her, and Antonio glared at me, his eyes red and angry.
“Do you have to push Sophia to the edge?”
Some people always acted weak to get sympathy.
After Sophia’s act, some actually started to feel bad for her.

Sophia froze. Without giving her a chance to react, I had Luke reveal an investigation report.
The crowd erupted in shock.
When Sophia had her baby, Antonio was right there with her the whole time, as evidenced by the hospital’s records and archives.
Indeed, she had a child out of wedlock, but her son always had a father–Antonio.
That explained why whenever Antonio bought gifts for Leah, he also bought one for Jacob.
I didn’t think much of it back then, but now that I thought about it, there were signs everywhere.
I remembered one year when there was a bad flu going around
in town.
Leah got sick too, looking under the weather.
I had someone bring a special medicine for Leah, but it disappeared the next day.
I asked Antonio about it.

He was shifty–eyed and said a friend’s kid was really sick and needed the medicine.
I was furious. Other people’s kids might be important, but Leah. was my everything!
Leah was badly sick for a while, with a high fever that made her body red and hot.
It broke my heart.
But then Antonio slipped up later, and that was when I found out the truth.
The medicine was given to Sophia, and actually, Jacob wasn’t sick at all. It was all because Sophia said, “Antonio, I’m scared Jacob might get infected too, so I’d like to keep a dose just in case.”
And Antonio gave it to her.
I started to get suspicious and had someone look into it.
Today, I finally got the concrete proof.
“Antonio, Sophia, you cheaters, what do you have to say now?”
I threw the evidence right in their faces, and the flimsy paper cut Antonio’s cheek, drawing blood.
Everyone else was enraged. This was outrageous!
Antonio and Sophia had a son together, and he was still with a rich girl, using her money to take care of his ex and their secret child!
