Clarissa’s beautiful eyes widened in shock as she read the divorce agreement.
It demanded Chandler transfer all his assets to her after the divorce!
How, even bolder than I’d imagined.

Still, she kept her sharp tongue. “What? You were the one who cheated, betraying our marriage. And now you’re upset about leaving with nothing? If you feel wrong, just say it. I’m not against a 70/30 split. After all, we were married, so I can at least leave you with something.”
Chandler’s temple throbbed with anger. “Should I be thanking you for being so generous?”
“Exactly. Now hurry up and sign the papers so we can part ways and I can start enjoying life with some handsome young men.”
“Clarissa!” Chandler roared.
With a sharp ‘click, Clarissa hung up, not giving him a chance to argue.
On the other side, Emily stared in awe, giving her a silent thumbs–up.
Clarissa was truly stunning and fierce when she wasn’t caught up in her feelings!
Meanwhile, Chandler was so furious he threw his phone.
Neil stood frozen, too scared to say anything.
However, Kendrick greeted them lazily. “So, what’s the emergency?”
He had gone through two rounds of drinks last night and only fell asleep at dawn.
He hadn’t been asleep long before Neil rushed him over to witness Chandler’s rage. He was exhausted.
Chandler didn’t respond, instead operating the mouse to print something out, which he tossed at Kendrick. Take a look.”
The words “Divorce Agreement” in bold letters on the top of the page made Kendrick pause.
He frowned. “Are you getting a divorce?”
Chandler gritted his teeth. “Keep reading.
Kendrick quickly skimmed through the entire document, and his shock was evident.
“No way! Clarissa has been worshipping the ground you walk on, and now she’s the one asking for a divorce? And the reason-” He burst out laughing.
Chandler shot him a murderous glare.
Kendrick quickly composed himself. “Sorry, I shouldn’t laugh!” He tapped the table. “So, what’s your plan?”
Chandler’s lips curled into a cold smile. “Divorce? Fine But I’ll make sure she begs me for it.”

Neil shivered at those words, now deeply curious about what in that agreement had made Chandler so furious.
Fadn’t Mrs. Moreno always been completely devoted to Mr. Moreno, as if she toere afraid to even breathe wrong presence! What could have caused such a sudden change?

After giving Chandler a piece of her mind, Clarissa felt incredibly refreshed.
But the next day, karma came knocking.
Besides being Mrs. Moreno and the former eldest daughter of the Stephensons, Clarissa also had another identity–she was the illustrator “Evenfall Gale.”
The illustrations she had done for the drama adaptation of “Rebirth” were now being accused of plagiarizing a famous manga artist from Rainville.
The accuser even posted comparison images highlighang similarities in composition, colors, and details.
At a glance, it did look suspiciously similar.
But anyone in the industry could tell that Clarissa was being framed.
Unfortunately, outsiders only cared about drama.
The surface–level similarity was enough for most people to climb onto their self–righteous soapboxes and pass judgment!
Clarissa was being torn apart online.
Some self–proclaimed righteous individuals were even threatening to expose her real identity and leave her with no place to hide.
Her studio called her.
“Clarissa, who on earth did you offend?”
Offend someone?
Who else could it be?
It is definitely that sc*mbag Chandler! Destroying our marriage wasn’t enough–now he wanted to ruin my career too!
What could possibly make him hate me this much?
Clarissa stormed into the Moreno Group, heels clicking angrily. But instead of Chandler, she was greeted by his smug secretary, who intercepted her with a smile.
“Here to see Mr. Moreno again?” Alina Harmon’s heavily altered face showed a twisted sense of satisfaction.
Clarissa glared at her, her gaze sharp. “Where’s Chandler?”

“Sorry, Mrs. Moreno, Mr. Moreno is in a meeting. He’s not seeing anyone right now. She emphasized the

“Hard to say,” Alina replied, tossing her hair seductively “Mr. Moreno is quite busy, unlike you, Mrs. Moreno, who seems to have nothing better to do all day”
Her tone was dripping with mockery, her eyes filled with disdain.
Clarissa chuckled.
It seemed her years as Mrs. Moreno had made people forget that the eldest daughter of the Stephensons was once a feared and ruthless businesswoman,
Back in the day, I could crush someone like Alina with a single finger.
But now, even this clown dared to mock me.
Of course, it wasn’t surprising. Anyone Chandler kept around was bound to be just as detestable as him.
She couldn’t deal with Chandler at the moment, but Alina….
Without warning, Clarissa raised her foot, and the sharp heel of her shoe drove into Alina’s stomach.
“Ah…Alina doubled over in pain, her face pale. “You!
“Who do you think you are, talking to me in such a manner?”
Clarissa stepped past her without another word, unwilling to waste time on such a small fry.
The commotion outside didn’t go unnoticed by those inside.
So just as Clarissa’s hand touched the doorknob, the door swung open from the other side.
Neil was sweating despite the cool autumn air. “Hello, Mrs. Moreno.”
“Hello” Clarissa acknowledged him with a nod. Neil, Chandler’s personal assistant, had always treated her decently, unlike the little gold–diggers Chandler took to a few parties who developed ideas of their own. So Clarissa’s attitude toward him was relatively polite. “Is he inside?” she asked.
