There were still traces of tears on her face, but Clarissa suddenly burst into laughter, saying, “Emily, in that spirit, help me massage my back.”
Clarissa’s back was so sore, she felt it was about to break
“If you want a massage, you should ask Tara. She’s like a professional.”
Emily jumped off the bed, saying, “Wait, I’ll go and get her.”
Tara worked for the Woods as their housekeeper and was around their age.
They had heard that her hometown was in a remote area and she had worked in a blind massage parlor before coming to work for the Woods.
In the first place, Emily had chosen Tara to work for them because of her excellent massage skills.
Very soon, Tara came upstairs with Emily.
“Tara, show us what you got and give Ms. Stephenson a massage,” Emily said.
-The way Emily was speaking reminded one of a Madam in a nightclub.
Tara chuckled discreetly, covering her mouth, “Yes, Ms. Wood.”
Tara walked over with a box in her hand and said, “Ms. Stephenson, please lie down and roll your shirt up.
Clarissa did as Tara requested.
Tara applied some oils to Clarissa’s back and began massaging her skillfully.
A professional was indeed something else. Clarissa was so comfortable that she couldn’t help humming with satisfaction.
Emily went to wash her face before sitting at the dressing table to use her skincare products.
While Emily was massaging her face, she suddenly thought of something and said, “By the way, Uncle Jerry called me to tell me the men who kidnapped you have been taken away.”
“Who was it? Hugh?” Clarissa asked.
“I’m not sure. It doesn’t seem likely, though,” Emily said as she pushed her facial muscles upward with the handheld massager. She continued, “Uncle Jerry hasn’t found out yet.”
Clarissa’s eyelid twitched.
There were only a handful of people in Oxbreach who Jerry was unable to find.
For some reason, Clarissa suspected that Chandler was involved.
However, Clarissa didn’t know why he would do such a thing.
Was he trying to help Gillian get rid of me?

No, that’s impossible.
Although Chandler can be ruthless, he would never do something illegal. That’s a line he won’t cross.
Why would he do it then?
In the basement at Willowbrook Ranch, Chandler sat on the sofa, his presence domineering.
There was a small coffee table in front of him with some hot coffee as well as some light desserts.

About 6 feet in front of him, a few men were hung in midair. They were all covered in blood thanks to a group of bodyguards dressed in black suits.
Neil quickly walked to Chandler’s side and said, “Mr. Moreno, they’re all fugitives. They’re refusing to say anything.”
Chandler slowly raised his eyes, his cold gaze falling on the man in the middle.
This man had a scar across the bridge of his nose. The scar ran from the inner corner of his left the bridge of his nose, ending at the outer corner of his right eye.
eye across
His eyes were fierce, and while there was nothing extraordinary about his features, he exuded a sense of ferocity.
Seeing Chandler looking at him, the man’s lips curled up into a provocative smirk.
Chandler lightly chuckled and said, “Interesting.”
Chandler pointed at the man and said, “Let him down.”
The bodyguards moved quickly. As the man’s feet touched the ground, his legs gave way, and he almost fell.
However, powered only by his willpower, the man managed to stay standing.
He look
directly at Chandler with a defiant look.
Neil frowned and shot a look at the bodyguard standing next to the man.
In a swift motion, the bodyguard aimed a kick at the man’s knee.
With a grunt, he fell to the ground with a thud.
Moments after he hit the ground, he was already struggling to stand again.
However, the bodyguard didn’t let him get up.
From the ground, the man glared up at Chandler with a sharp gaze.
Chuckling, Chandler got up from the sofa.
His handmade leather shoes scuffed the ground as he slowly walked toward the man.
Chandler had an imposing aura, making one involuntarily want to bow respectfully.

However, the man gritted his teeth as he tried to resist Chandler’s aura.
“Levi Mann?” Chandler spoke in a cold and indifferent tone.
Levi’s expression faltered. He had not expected Chandler to know his true identity.
“The wanted criminal behind the dismemberment murders in Fusaird. You even committed two more crimes, breaking and entering, as well as armed robbery, after going through plastic surgery in an illegal clinic and changing your identity.”
Casually, Chandler unveiled Levi’s crimes before continuing, “Surprised that I know all this?”
“I destroyed all my records at that clinic and killed everyone who knew about it. There’s no way you could have found out about it. Who are you?” Levi’s gaze was even more sinister now.
He looked just like a beast that had been cornered and was prepared to strike.
“I’m Chandler Moreno!”
Levi was speechless.
Of course, Levi knew Chandler.
However, Chandler was just an ordinary businessman who was just a little more rich and capable. Other than that, he was just another businessman.
Such secrets would only be known by those involved in illegal activities. There was no way an ordinary person like Chandler would know about it.
“I didn’t expect the CEO of the Moreno Group to be so well informed of such things!”
Chandler answered casually, “Nothing is surprising about that. After all, money is the most powerful.”
Anything could be bought with money.
It was just a matter of how much money one was willing to spend.
