Seeing the video he received in his email, Lionel smiled. He immediately sent it to Serena anonymously.
After finding out that Serena was rivals with Yvette, Lionel decided to use Serena to ruin Yvette’s reputation.
Martha valued good character. If Martha discovered that Yvette had poor character, she would disapprove of the relationship even if Wilson loved her.
Serena was excited when she received the video. It was Yvette’s fault that Serena got beaten up and suffered numerous fractures; Tom got fired, too! Serena couldn’t just let it go so easily.
She wondered how she could get her revenge when an anonymous person sent her a video.
Serena decided to edit the video. She wanted to make it seem as if Yvette turned on her adoptive parents and assaulted them after reuniting with her biological parents. Then, she would post it online, allowing public opinion to ruin Yvette’s reputation.
At the thought of what could happen to Yvette, Serena became excited. She replied to the email.
“I don’t know who you are, but thank you for the video. I’ll make sure that bitch, Yvette’s reputation gets ruined for good!”
Lionel scoffed at the message, then he deleted it. He returned to the ward and gazed at Victoria, who was fast asleep.
He muttered gently, “Ms. Olson, you’re too kind to do anything bad. Since that’s the case, I’ll be the villain and take back everything that belonged to you.”
The next day, Yvette arrived at the classroom to find a beautifully wrapped gift on her desk. She frowned at the sight.
Ever since Sean and Ashton posted a warning on the university forum, nobody dared to give her any love letters, let alone gifts. She wondered who still had the guts to send her something.
“Yvie, that’s a gift from Jasper!” said one of her classmates, eager to gossip.
“Yvie, Jasper also asked us to tell you this. If you don’t like the gift, he’ll give you something else next time!
Defeated, Yvette rubbed her temple and said, “Tell him to stop sending gifts.”
“Oh… okay. We’ll tell him that, Yvie!”
“What should we do about this, Yvie? It looks expensive…”
“It’s fine, I’ll take it,” Yvette said casually. She calmly accepted the gift.
Yesterday, Yvette saw Wilson transfer five million dollars to Jasper. Since Jasper used Wilson’s money to buy her a gift, she accepted it as a gift from her brother–in–law.
Hearing her words, her classmates immediately discussed among themselves.
“Wow, Yvie accepted Jasper’s gift!”
“Yeah! Yvie didn’t even accept gifts from Liam, but she accepted Jasper’s gifts. I think Jasper has a chance!”
